    Spelling: Choose a list of words below. Each day this week, choose a different activity from the spelling matrix to practise your words. Make sure you practise your spelling each day and tick the box when you are done. Submit your spelling onto Edmodo on Friday. For one of the days this week, complete the Drought Dictionary/Vocabulary Activity, Choose at least 8 (you may do more!) of the words on the activity sheet.     Mindfulness and KIDS MATTER Heartbeat Exercise

    Paying attention to one’s heartbeat has a role in many

    mindfulness exercises and activities.

    1. To begin, you need to jump up and down or do

    jumping jacks for one minute.

    2. When you have finished, sit down and put a hand over

    your heart. Close your eyes and pay attention only to your

    heartbeat and, perhaps, your breath as well.

    3. This exercise teaches you to notice your heartbeat, and use it as a tool to help your focus. These skills will come in handy whilst you are remote learning.

    Try completing this heartbeat exercise every day.

    Learning Intention: “I can experiment with an online music creation program to create music”
