Incorporating self-care into daily routine is essential for creating a work-life balance. Otherwise, the stresses of daily life can weigh on you. Music is central to my mindfulness practice. I am an avid musician and enjoy playing a variety of instruments including the violin, piano, mandolin, and drums. I am also passionate about singing and song-writing. Music has given me the opportunity to act as an ambassador for my community through partnerships and alliances with Manitoba Tourism and Trade, the Manitoba Hotel Association, the City of Thompson, the Manitoba Metis Federation, the Thompson Kin Club, and the Associated Manitoba Arts Festival. When I was 3 years old I watched my first football game on T.V. Since then, I have had a passion for all team-based sports. In my spare time, I especially enjoy playing hockey, 3-on-3 basketball, rugby, and football.
