Welcome Students, Staff, Parents and Community, to another exciting school year! Our Meet the Teacher/ 1st Progress Report Night will be held on Wednesday, September 5th from 4:30p.m. to 6:30p.m. This is a great opportunity for parents to visit with teachers. We believe that together we can better prepare our students with all the important assessments they will be taking. Our instruction starts at 8:20a.m. and dismissal for students is 4:00p.m. Please assure your son/daughter comes to school everyday on time. Also, please review the school calendar for important upcoming events and meetings. We thank you for your continuous support in the education of our students and look forward to Building Tomorrow Together.

Attendance We understand that sometimes your son/daughter will become ill or
other circumstances may arise, Please inform the campus by calling the Attendance Office At 273-6825 or 273-6897. Upon returning to campus the next day, your son/
daughter needs to bring a doctor’s excuse or a parent note explaining why your son/daughter was absent. Remember: Every day your son/daughter comes to school is a day of learning, so don’t let your son/daughter miss out on valuable learning experiences.
Nurse’s Health Corner
There are great expectations for this coming 2018-2019 school year. There is much to learn and experience with a healthy attitude! Here are some tips to help you stay healthy and reach your best this school year: Eat Healthy. Eat healthy foods that will give you energy, build muscle, and contains im-portant vitamins and minerals to help you grow. Move It. Get exercise by doing outdoor and indoor activities to build muscle, helps your heart circulate oxygen to vital body organs and prevent excess weight gain. Sleep. Get enough sleep at night to help you concentrate on school work and to remember what you learned. Stop the Flu. Stay away from the flu and colds by covering your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing. Wash your hands to prevent the spread of germs. Get vaccinated.
