PENDAHULUAN
Dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, seseorang mempunyai beberapa hal yang harus diseimbangkan, yaitu antara rumahdan tempat bekerja, antara kebutuhan sosial dan pribadi.

• Sebagai manusia, kita perlu belajar beradaptasi (menyesuaikan diri) dengan situasi yang terjadi di luar harapan.
• Secara perlahan – sejak bayi hingga dewasa kita senantiasa belajardan belajar lebih mudah menerima situasi yang tidak kita kehendaki tersebut
• Dalam menghadapi situasi yang tidak diduga, seseorang dapat merasa kaget/terkejut pada awalnya, lalu marah, melakukan tawar menawar, merasakan depresi (sedih berlebihan), dan akhirnya berdamai dan menerima situasi yang tidak nyaman tersebut
