Project Description Cannon supplied to TSL (Television Systems Limited) over 130 pre‐assembled Broadcast specification cabinets at 47U high x 1000mm deep and specially designed RAFts™ (Raised Access Floor technology system). TSL is “a broadcast systems integrator and enjoys strong relationships, based on honesty and impartiality, with the leading third party manufacturers and suppliers of broadcast technology. Our systems integration design & implementation teams work closely with third party manufacturers to devise end to end solutions for all our customers”. The Broadcast Cabinets were installed by TSL at the purpose built Media City UK based at Salford Quays in Manchester. The Cannon installation team, once the cabinets were live, were responsible for the fitting of the Cannon Aisle Cocooning to create Cold Aisle Containment. A total of 11 Aisle Cocoons were fitted in compliance with stringent onsite regulations including Bovis clearance, CSCS cards, IPAF certification and onsite inductions. The Aisle Cocoons comprised passive roof panels, self‐closing non‐locking ‘double’ sliding doors and all associated bracketry and fixings.
