Introduction (1)

. During the “interim period”, ERGEG assumed the role

assigned to ACER by the 3rd package and worked on

“pilot” Framework Guidelines (FG)

. ERGEG has been working on three FG:

» Electricity Grid Connection

» Capacity Allocation and Congestion Management

» System Operation

. Work on drafting the FG on System Operation was

concluded under ACER

. ACER was invited to submit to the Commission, by 31

December 2011, a framework guideline on electricity

system operation
