JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Planning AdministratorLocation: GunnessResponsible to: Planning Manager – H2S
Key Role Objective
Provision of organisation and administrative support to the Planning Manager and administrative support to the Planning and Logistics Team
Key Accountabilities/ Responsibilities
Planning
Communicating chick placement dates with Farm managers and Area managers Updating turnarounds and distributing to the relevant people Provide information for H2S accounts, including sending farm & factory data to
accounts and relevant managers Completing Food Chain Information documents and distributing to 2sfg Checking and collating salmonella results and informing the relevant people Providing administrative support to the planning team including faxing, emailing,
telephone, filing, minute taking, typing and collating information
Transport
Fax the collection schedules to relevant recipients Occasionally provide support by distributing drivers shifts for the following day
Purchasing
Order required production supplies via internet and telephone. Collate purchase orders.
General
Maintain filing and record keeping systems using spreadsheets and databases as appropriate.
Answering telephones and dealing with any queries. Other duties commensurate with the post as required

Relevant skills and / or aptitudes
Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people in writing, by telephone and via electronic communication services (email, Internet, Intranet)
ICT skills including: Accurate word processing Maintenance of databases The use of spreadsheets
Must have the ability to work on own initiative, establish priorities, plan own work and meet deadlines.
