PROPER USE OF THETHUNDER FIVENever Place Fingers or Hands Over Muzzle!

The cylinder release is located in the shroud underneath the barrel.The cylinder is released by pushing forward on the release buttonand swinging the cylinder open by applying pressure to oppositeside of cylinder from release button. The cylinder closes-and locksinto position by simply pushing the cylinder back into its positionin the frame.The ejector isoperated by pushing back on the screw head in frontof the cylinder release button.Do not attempt to open or close the cylinder with the weapo'ncocked or the manual safety in the safe position. These actions willcause damage to your weapon.The ambidextrous manual sa fety is loca ted a t the top rear of theweapon just forward of the hammer. The safety is actuated byrotating the Ieaver 1800 ina clockwise direction. This moves thehammer to the rear and prevents the hammer from striking the in-ternal transfer safety and contacting the firing pin ifthe trigger ispulled. The weapon is returned to the fire mode by reversing thesafety .This revolver is a double action type which means that this weaponcan be fired by either fully cocking the hammer and pulling thetrigger or by pulling the trigger which will cock the hammer andrelease it.Your weapon is chambered for .45 L.C. and .410 shot shells. Afterfiring .45 L.C. or sub caliber devices, the chambers should bec leaned prior to firing .410 she lls to prevent difficulty in caseextraction.There are five small indentations at the breach of the cylinder. Theseare provided as a means to,color code different types of ammuni-tion tha t may be loaded in the Thunder Five.
