Name and Interest Tableaux

What is a tableau?

Tableau: A group of models or motionless figures representing a scene from a story or from history; a tableau vivant.

Some refer to tableau as a frozen picture.

Create a tableau that represents an interest or something about yourself.

HANDS-ON TABLEAU ACTIVITY

Group Activity:  Look at Wilson Partnership for Children library and select a story or nursery rhyme. As a group (3-4 people) create a tableau re-enacting a scene from the story.
