Every year, Larry's Berry Farm delights thousands of visitors with hayrides, apple picking and pumpkin
donuts. The Mitchell sisters work the farm with their parents and life is good un l a mysterious waste
management baron comes to town. He wants the farm for his new landfill and he'll stop at nothing to
get it. When the Mitchell girls - who bear a striking resemblance to a van-driving ac on team from the
1980's - get wind of his plan, they spring into ac on. Led by Hannah Belle, a master of disguise and cun-
ning strategist, the girls hatch a plan to steal the waste baron’s private jet and save their farm. Together,

Director’s Note:
“Appropriate Audience Behavior” has been such an incredibly fun show to direct! It started with a wonderful script, which continues to make me laugh, even after seeing it rehearsed after a number of times. The real gem of this production, though, has been the team that I have been blessed to work with. From the beginning of our time together, each and every team member has given me their all, and that is what has pushed us to move so quickly through our rehearsal schedule. They have blown me away with their willingness to cooperate with both me and each other - something that is almost unheard of for a group of 20+ middle schoolers.
I am incredibly grateful for the dedication of the students that have worked so hard over the past couple of months - and I am equally excited for them to show you how talented each of them is in our productions, both here at home and at L.E.S.T. in Portland.
Thank you, families, for your support through gathering props and costumes, getting students to early practices, and for coming to see our production! Please sit back, relax, and enjoy “Appropriate Audience Behavior”, by Ian McWethy.

A Midsummer Night’s DreamIn Seventeen And A Half Minutes or Less
By CHRISTINE HARVEY
“The course of true love…” All the philosophers in ancient Athens couldn’t help these confused romantics find their way. Perhaps a few fairies could? Maybe.
“A Midsummer Night’s Dream in Seventeen And A Half Minutes Or Less” is a fast-paced and quick-witted take on Shakespeare’s classic comedy that explores the human perception of love and affection as well as ego and pride.
Will true love prevail in spite of all odds? Maybe.
