2. Draw some ears on the smaller circle. To add the ribbon to the boxes, draw two lines going down the middle of each side, then do the same in a cross shape on the top of each box. Add a line going sideways around the box to show where the lid is.

1. Take your 2H pencil. Start by drawing the most basic shapes in the plan. The red lines show you what to draw next, continue to use your sketching pencil for the plan of the drawing.

3. Let’s add some more detail to the cat. Draw an oval shape forthe nose, a long sausage shape for the tail and a smiley mouthwith two pointy teeth. Add some curved lines for the front legs,and circles for the three toes. Finally add two curved lines abovehis nose, and the last bit of detail on the ears and back leg.

4. Add some zig-zag lines to make our cat look furry! Then start on the plan of our teddy, layout the basic plan using circles, then add his face. Next, draw a tiny present infront of our cat. Draw it in the same way as the larger presents, check sections 1 and 2 if you can’t remember how!

5. Now we can start adding the �nal details. Draw two cushions underneath the cat. Add a santa hat to teddy and some antlers to our cat! To do the antlers, draw one line going upward, and then split the line into two or three lines, �nally draw around the lines to make them look thicker.

6. Lastly we need to add ribbons to our presents! Draw two loops, and two dangly strings for each present. Then draw around these lines to make them look thicker!

7. When you are happy with your plan, take your 2B pencil and go over the whole outline carefully. Think about which bits you need to keep and which bits you can erase to make the drawing clearer.

8. Now we can start colouring! Choose lots of di�erent colours, and don’t forget to �ip your pencils around for even more colours!
