successful Project AWARE fund raisingday, this year, on Saturday 23th July,we are again hosting a familyBarbecue, raffle and auction.Start Time: 5pmYour Tickets need to be purchased inadvance

Tickets will be on sale at the Dive Centre.

As in previous years all the proceeds raised during the event will bedonated to Project AWARE, to help in their mission of raisingawareness about the state of the worldwide aquatic environmentand our need to protect it for future generations.

event a success

As in previous years we hope that the auction will again be a majorfeature of this years event. So please search out any unwantedgifts and presents, in a good saleable condition and donate themfor auction items or raffle prizes.Please drop off any donations at the dive centre, during our normalopening hours.

The club trips organised for this year are nearly completely full,with just 4 places remaining on the St Abbs trip in September, so ifyou are interested in joining us on any of trips with spaces

remaining, please pay your 10 deposit before it is too late!

At the next meeting it has been suggested that we discuss optionsfor our Christmas party and look at what club trips members wouldlike to book for next year.

As Dive Club members, you can use the pool for only 5 per person,during our pool sessions, using your own kit, or just 15 per personincluding rental of full kit. So whether you just want to refresh yourskills, have a piece of new kit to try out or just having that burning desireto get wet.

Guided Sea DivesWe are now offering guided sea dives for anyone who has notbeen on a boat before or been in the sea for the price of 25.00per day for a PADI professional to take you diving.

On our trips we will put the names of the Divemasters and

Instructors who will be willing to take you on a guided dive andyou pay the 25.00 to the Divemaster / instructor direct tocontribute towards their trip cost.

This will enable you to have peace of mind that you can conduct abuoyancy check and be shown all the fabulous crittersunderwater.

Club Events and Trips CalendarIf you have any other ideas for club trips for next year, please let us know at the nextclub meeting, so we can organise and book boats etc...

This is because we need to book early to ensure that we can have access to the bestboats at each destination.

If you want to secure a place for next years trips you must bring 10 per trip to themeeting otherwise your name cannot be put down to reserve a place.

Anyone who pays a deposit and revokes must pay for the trip in full if you do notfind anyone to take your place as we have to book and pay for our boats in advance.
