Cautions about Dreams and Visions

Visions are meant for the person receiving, not the church at large.

Some visions should be kept private.

Visions are often symbolic, usually a warning and not always meant to be taken literally.

The Lord does not give dates, but a season and sometimes an order of events in the scriptures.

If a dream or vision pulls an individual away from the Lord’s church on earth, it is not of God.

Lessons Learned from theGeorge Albert Smith Vision

Always use the original recording. The additions years later misled many of us into thinking the perilous times were connected to an election.

It is possible the “additions” to the recording will eventually come true, just not all at once as the additional material/events suggested.

The original recording should have said, “when a non-European president leaves office, our troubles will begin…”

with clues in the visions and scriptures, we can attempt to line up the order of events.

This is not set in stone, nor is it authoritative.

Let’s See How They Line Up!

1st Clue/Marker - Armageddon

In Daniel 7:25

tells us that the Anti-Christ reigns for 3.5 years.

Revelation 13:5 and Revelation 11:2

says the Anti-Christ reigns for 42 months (3.5 years).

Revelations 11: 3

says two prophets will hold off the world’s army during

Armageddon for a thousand, two hundred and three score days

(3.5 years).

Matthew 24:15 Christ says to look for the Abomination of Desolation (Armageddon)

for tribulations to start.

Daniel 9:27 tells us the Abomination of Desolation is 3.5 years

and ½ way through a period of tribulation.

The only 7 year sign to date is the solar eclipse in totality in September of 2017 is 7 years (April 2024) from another solar eclipse in totality and the recorded paths will cross in the center of America.

Immediately following the eclipse, America saw Hurricane Harvey, Irma and Mary. California recorded its worst fire in history. The world saw unprecedented calamities with earthquakes, fires and volcanoes.

Considerations

The other heavenly sign in 2015 (also a Jubilee Year) was the return of the Star of Bethlehem after 2,000 years. If that is the sign to start the 7 years, then 2018 (3.5 years later) is a possibility for Armageddon.

However, it is unlikely because New Jerusalem needs to be started BEFORE Armageddon for the 2 prophets to be sent from, (and a multitude of other events need to happen before Armageddon shown here in a few slides).

2nd Clue – 2 Prophets

In Visions of Glory the two prophets leave New Jerusalem to aid the Jews in Israel and to fight off the world’s army.

“It was at this time that two prophets were called in Zion to go and alter the course of the Jewish people. I knew who they were at the time, but I have not retained that memory. I believe they were members of the Quorum of the Twelve who were then serving in Zion.”

3rd Clue – Three Plagues

New Jerusalem is dedicated at end of the ‘overflowing scourge’ (plagues).

President John Taylor’s Vision of a Plague

“Immediately after (seeing the carnage from the plague) I seemed to be standing on the left bank of the Missouri River, opposite the City of Independence, but there was no city.

I saw the whole state of Missouri and Illinois and all of Iowa, a complete desert with no living being there. A short distance from the river however, I saw twelve men dressed in temple robes, standing in a square or nearly so (and I understood it represented the Twelve Gates of the New Jerusalem.) Their hands were uplifted in consecration of the ground and laying the corner stone of the temple.”

Considerations

There appears to be 3 major plagues within a year:

Each are man-made and seem to last about three months.

Each are separated by a three-month break.

The first two are before the places of safety are

preliminarily established and miss the Intermountain Region.

The last one is released about a month after people leave for places of safety. Those responding to the call-out should be able to avoid it.

Plagues Added to the Order

First Plague: Smallpox Pimples

• VOG (p.131) About this time, the same plague that had devastated so much of the east arrived in Utah as it spread across the nation. As I said, we found out later that the plague was man-made, and the troops had been inoculated against the pathogen that caused the plague. When a person contracted the plague, they got many small pox marks on their skin similar to pimples.

• Hector Sosa – A Change is Coming “As I said earlier, this second plague starts out like a cold, very similar to the Chikungunya virus infection. People have fevers, shakes, and are in a lot of pain. The skin eventually breaks out in blisters. This plague reminds me a lot of when I had chicken pox, only the blisters have a whiter and thicker pus.”

• Sarah Menet – There is No Death “The disease started with white blisters, some the size of a dime, appearing the hands, arms and face of the victims. The blisters quickly developed into white puffy sores. Those with the disease would stumble around and fall over dead. Many died within a short time, perhaps 24 hours.”

Second Plague: Fear

• Suzanne Freeman - Through the Window of Life, “Fear was the main cause of the illness that plagued the nation… Entertaining fear invites illness, accidents, and troubles that we don’t have to have. Fear attracts and acts as a conductor for devastation, just as water is to electricity.”

• Dreams of Zion - Second plague: Plague of fear. Diverse, unrelated, seemingly impossible to get illnesses. Virtually everyone gets something. Many suddenly realize that it might be the end. Righteous healed by faith. Most deaths are among the worldly. More than 50 million succumb. Total population of the US has been reduced by half at the end of this plague.

Third Plague: Ebola-like

• Hector Sosa, A Change is Coming – “I saw that no age group was safe from the disease. The most noticeable aspect of this plague was that at the later stages, the veiny lesions were dark purple. There was a central nub in the skin from where tentacle-like lesions spread. These were quite noticeable on the top of the hands, cheeks, and forehead. The people who contracted it were very sickly and had a sheen of sweat across their bodies, as if they had a high fever.”

• Sarah Menet – “I also saw other people with a flu-like virus that spread more quickly than the first disease. The victims had blood coming from their nose, mouth, eyes, and ears. These people died even faster of this disease than the ones who had the first sickness. These diseases became wide-spread across the United States with hundreds of thousands infected.”

4th Clue – Places of Refuge

Saints are Called Out to Places of Refuge

prior to the third plague and prior to the Utah earthquake.

Dream of Plagues Excerpt, (1884)

“Below this picture (poison falling from the sky) was the description: ‘A camp of the Saints who have gathered together and are living under the daily revelations of God, and are thus preserved from the plague.’

I understood from this that each family was in its tent during the hours of the day that the poison falls, and thus were preserved from breathing the deathly particles.”

“I was aware that there were other gathering places like this throughout the United States, Europe, South America, and anywhere the stakes of Zion had been fully organized prior to the earthquakes.”

Clue #5 – Utah Earthquake

• Visions of Glory – “My flight across North America began in Salt Lake City. There had been a massive earthquake in that area in the fall of the year.” (p. 117)

• Visions of Glory – “I then ‘flew’ across the upper part of Florida, and up the east coast of the U.S. The earthquakes had not reached here as strongly, so the infrastructure was more intact. But, there had been a biological attack, and there was more death in the eastern and north-eastern parts of the country than in those areas stricken by the earthquakes.” (p. 118)

6th Clue – Adam-ondi-ahman

Adam-ondi-Ahman is the summer before the quake, and after the plagues have begun.

“Joseph then spoke for about ninety minutes, telling us about the great meeting of Adam-ondi-Ahman, which had just taken place.” (p. 143)

*Joseph Smith is talking at a conference held in the fall/early winter following the Utah earthquake/flood.

7th Clue – Missionaries Called Home

• With the plagues in full force the missionaries are called home.

• D&C 88:88 Times of the Gentiles end, (gospel taken from the Gentiles, missionaries called home) the Lord preaches his own sermons of earthquakes, etc.

• Nonstop calamities for three months including comet hitting the earth after the missionaries are called home.

• Missionaries called home, Times of the Gentiles end – Nonstop Calamities begin.

Dreams of Zion - p. 5

The first year of a tribulation is filled with 2 of 3 plagues (plague 3 follows the establishment of refuges), the missionaries are called home and there are 3 straight months of nonstop calamities in the U.S.

D&C 45: 30-33

30 And in that generation shall the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

31 And there shall be men standing in that generation, that shall not pass until they shall see an overflowing scourge; for a desolating sickness shall cover the land.

32 But my disciples shall stand in holy places, and shall not be moved; but among the wicked, men shall lift up their voices and curse God and die.

33 And there shall be earthquakes also in divers places, and many desolations; yet men will harden their hearts against me, and they will take up the sword, one against another, and they will kill one another.

D&C 88:88-90

88 And after your testimony cometh wrath and indignation upon the people.

89 For after your testimony cometh the testimony of earthquakes, that shall cause groanings in the midst of her, and men shall fall upon the ground and shall not be able to stand.

90 And also cometh the testimony of the voice of thunderings, and the voice of lightnings, and the voice of tempests, and the voice of the waves of the sea heaving themselves beyond their bounds.

Clue #8 – President Assassinated

• Dreams of Zion – President is in a bunker and drinks poisoned water along with his administration.

• David Warwick – Sees the president receiving a blessing but it doesn’t take. Sees in the news the president died, but he knew it wasn’t an accident, he was assassinated.

• Apocrypha (Ezra) – The 45th King of a mighty nation in the end times is taken out and his successor is taken out and it leads to the rise of the anti-Christ.

Clue #9 - Dollar Depreciation Triggers Civil War

• Joseph Smith prophesied: – Starts in Chicago. Currency depreciation triggers a civil war.– Children of the slaves will be marshalled and disciplined for war

(D&C 87:4-6)– Republicans and Democrats war and American Independent Party

will rise. (Republicans were not a party until after JS death.)

• Dreams of Zion –– A dollar reset triggers a civil war between unions and non-unions. – The Democrats join the unions and it turns into a race driven war. – Lasts about 5 months.– Nearly 80 million killed. – Democrats cease to exist, rise of the Independents Party.– Takes about 1.5 years to clean up.

Charles Evans – together with the policy of many wealthy ones, has produced distress and do presage further sorrow. Mad with rage men and women rushed upon each other. Blood flowed down the streets of cities like water.

Cardston Prophecy – I saw race rioting upon the American continent on a vast scale.

John Taylor - ...The vision was so terrible that he asked the Lord to close it up. But he said that those who would keep the commandments and adhere to the authorities of the church would survive; and the Lord would protect them as he did the people of Israel.

Passages about WWIII – Order Unknown

• Cardston Prophecy - Begins in the Pacific Ocean. Followers of Mohammed, Buddha and Christianity are involved.

• David Warwick - North Korea triggers the war with some violation that is smaller than the previous ones. US empties 6 military bases on the west coast to go after North Korea. Communications are cut off, our military is attacked at sea.

• Sarah Menet – Sees a missile launched into Israel from Libya and it ignites a nuclear war. (Most likely the pretext for Armageddon.)

11th Clue – America is Invaded

• U.S. invasion by China and Russia after Civil War, and after the 3rd

plague begins.

• U.N. troops are already in America during the Civil War period.

• The anti-Christ is also removed.
