Folders

Local root folder/master folder: The main folder for the web site. It contains the subfolders within it.

Subfolder: a folder inside another folder

Path: The succession of folders that must be navigated to get from one folder to another

Paragraph Formatting is the process of changing the appearance of text.Character Entities, another name for character codes, allow a browser to show special characters.

The F4 key is a toggle key that opens and/or closes all panels and inspectors—like the ones shown in the accompanying figure—at one time.Discussion: Why is it considered good practice to save when you first open a document and then save regularly while you are working in Dreamweaver? How do you protect yourself when you follow this practice? What might happen if you did not follow it?
