ward. Trying to elimate crossovers and keeping hips open. Helps with mobility.

2. Drill to be done at 25% speed3. Always skating forwards.4. Always turn your back to pylon.5. Loadup on outside skate and inside skate tuck

in before exploding to inside skate.6. Example. First Pylon aproach turning your back

to pylon, loadup on left skate tucking in right skate. Really slow it down and explode with left skate transferring weight to extended right skate on ice. Continue to next pylon reversing the other way.

DESCRIPTIONOn whistle both sides go at the same time.Main purpose of this drill is gap control1. On whistle F1 skates at 50% speed around

the circles in a figure 8.2. F1 goes forwards when F1 is going away

from him and pivots backwards when he is coming towards him.

3. The distance between both skaters is called your gap. Try to maintain a 2-3 stick length gap in this drill

4. After you complete the figure 8 twice the players continue down the ice. F1 focus on going towards wing, laterally to make D1 have to adjust.
