EB Assist ADTF is able to capture synchro-nized data from multiple, different sensor sources and provides standard components for data recording and interpretation of LIN, MOST, CAN, FlexRay and Ethernet bus sys-tems. Besides data recording, the framework offers tools for real-time data playback, data handling, processing and visualiza-tion in the lab as well as in the test car.

To support data exchange with proprietary tools, an independent (streaming) library is available.

EB Assist Car Data Recorder (EB Assist CDR): Simplicity and efficiency for test drive recordings

Driver assistance systems and the tests required to develop and validate them are becoming more and more complex in today’s connected world. As a result, an ever-increasing number of test drives are needed. EB Assist Car Data Recorder is an intuitive, flexible and cost-effective solution for test drive recordings.

EB Assist Capture and EB Assist Replay: Measurement tools for driver assistance system prototypes

Driver assistance systems are incorporating various sensors such as radar, ultrasound, infrared, laser and/or video cameras. As the number of sensors grows, the amount of data generated by these devices has also increased significantly. Capturing data precisely and replaying it synchronously for test and validation purposes is essential to carmakers and suppliers alike.

EB Assist Capture and EB Assist Replay are also available as HiL application to ensure high precision capture and replay of vehicle bus data and video data.

EB Assist Capture is a high-end solution for reading and time-stamping large amounts of video and car data during test drives. The EB Assist Capture device is mounted in a test car working in conjunction with an EB Assist ADTF development framework to control the data recording.

EB Assist Replay brings the recorded car data and videos back on the buses and signal lines to simulate your systems for test and evalua-tion in a lab environment.

EB Assist ADASISv2 eHorizon solutions: Detailed map information showing the road ahead

The ADASIS based EB Assist eHorizon (electronic horizon) solutions make topographic and ADAS data available for driver assistance systems and provides drivers with increased safety, comfort and fuel efficiency. Carmakers and suppliers use EB´s tool chain – from pre-development to serial production – to provide electronic horizon based driver assistance functions like adaptive curve light, traffic sign recognition and fuel efficient driving.

Elektrobit makes the EB Assist ADASISv2Reconstructor available for MATLAB®/Simulink®.

The blockset reads live or recorded CAN messages containing ADASISv2 data and updates the ADASISv2 Reconstructor data store. Accessing the data through the event API is implemented in form of an extensible S-Function.

EB Assist ADASISv2 eHorizon target software:Ready for volume production

Target (ECU - electronic control unit) software modules by Elektrobit EB street director ADASISv2 Provider is the main component for several mandatory ADAS functionality. It is responsible for build-ing the maximum street network dependent of the current vehicle position with all available street attributes. EB street director ADASISv2 Provider provides an ADASISv2 compliant electronic horizon.

The electronic horizon is transmitted via the car’s CAN bus using the ADASISv2 protocol. In order to use the data in an ADAS ECU, it is necessary to reconstruct the electronic horizon from the CAN data.

EB Automotive has developed an EB Assist ADASISv2 Reconstructor that ensures quick integration of map based data into any ADAS ECU.

By using EB’s ADASISv2 eHorizon develop-ment tools and target software, developers save time due to sophisticated and main-tained solutions. The risk of system errors is minimized and developers can focus on creat-ing innovative driver assistance functions.
