Commander SK is the easy drive – easy to install,

easy to connect, and easy to confi gure.

Easy to install - Flexibility allows you to install the drive in

the best way for your application.

� DIN rail mount on small sizes

� Provision for “through hole mounting” is standard above 5 hp. This allows the heat from the drive to be dissipated externally allowing the use of a smaller enclosure.

Easy to connect - All connectors are generously sized and

clearly labeled.

Easy to confi gure - Choose from several preset confi gurations. Drive

starts up in V/Hz mode. Common settings printed on drive cover.

Commander SK is a compact drive -

A compact footprint with space saving features.

Commander SK gives you back valuable space with its compact

footprint and extra features that can eliminate the requirement for

additional components such as EMC fi lters. In simple applications

the onboard PLC feature saves you money by removing the need

for an external PLC and power supplies. Integrated fi eldbus options

minimize the need for external I/O to interface with the drive.

for a general purpose drive, while delivering greater effi ciency and

like PID controller, output frequency up to 1500 Hz, brake control

function, threshold detectors, variable selector, motorized pot, logic

functions, time delay, and second motor map. Add the LogicStick for

PLC functionality, plug in a fi eldbus or I/O “Solution Module” and

you have a high-value, low cost drive with the power to perform.

A comprehensive range of accessories allows you

to expand the standard feature set to achieve more.

Communication, Programming and Control Options

Add intelligence and connectivity to your drive with innovative integra-

tion accessories. For example, with an Ethernet “Solution Module”

and internet connectivity you can connect your PC to a drive located

anywhere in the world. Commander SK is as simple or sophisticated as

you need it to be.

� Communications and I/O Modules – “Solution Modules” provide

optional fi eldbus communications and a range of I/O options to

extend the functionality of the drive. Using the SM-Timer I/O, you

can use a real-time clock to schedule the drive’s operation. Solution

Modules fi t in Size B (1 hp) drives and higher, and the “zero-space”

design requires no panel space, fi tting under the cover of the drive.

Industrial Fieldbus support (Modbus RTU standard):

� Serial Cables – Safe isolated cables (USB or RS-232 connectors)

to link your PC to the drive

� Parameter Copy Device – The “SmartStick” enables quick parameter

copying. This is especially useful for replicating parameter confi gura-

tions across multiple drives

� PLC Memory Device – The “LogicStick” enables PLC functionality

and provides additional memory for applications. Provides cost and

space-saving advantage for those applications where a separate,

external PLC would typically be used

� PC software tools – Free software: Drive confi guration with CTSoft,

oscilloscope monitoring with CTScope, and PLC programming with
