• The Minneapolis Public School district’s dropout rate was 9% higher than the dropout rate in St. Paul Public Schools in the 2012-2013 school year.
• By gender, the average of dropout rate for male students is 46% higher than female students in the Twin Cities.
• The ethnic group with the highest dropout rate in the Twin Cities is American Indian/Alaskan Native (21%), followed by Hispanics (17%), African-Americans (10%), and Asian/Pacific Islanders (6%).
