Divorce Ministry again this fall. This ministry will bring hope and healing to
those who have experienced the pain and loneliness of a broken marriage.
Surviving Divorce features twelve video presenta ons that cover topics such as
shock and grief, anger and forgiveness, money issues, helping your children,
interac ng with a former spouse, and annulment and remarriage. This program
is for the newly separated and divorced and those s ll struggling with issues
many years later. It will help you find answers to your ques ons, restore your
hope, and begin authen c healing.
Surviving Divorce will help you:
• Work through the emo onal upheaval of separa on and divorce.
• Find personal healing and hope.
• Discover a deeper understanding of God’s love for you.
• Gain wisdom and comfort from experts and others who share your
experiences.
• Navigate new concerns like custody, court hearings, and finances.
Surviving Divorce will be every Monday star9ng September 9th to December
9th from 7:00 to 8:30 PM in the Parish Library (No mee9ng on November 25th
for Thanksgiving). The program fee is $20 to cover the cost of the Personal

Surviving Divorce Ministry
The Knights of Columbus in the Greater Lansing area will be once again
sponsoring and hos ng our Annual Clergy, Religious and Seminarian
apprecia on Mass and dinner for all our hard-working Clergy and
Religious. Please consider joining us to thank these people who mean so
much to us. Bishop Boyea will celebrate the Mass star ng at 6pm on
Tuesday, August 13th, at the Catholic Community of St Jude Parish, 801
Bridge St. Dewi,. Dinner will follow the Mass. Tickets are $15 each, or

Clinton County Right to Life is holding a baby contest at the Mint Fest in

The Westphalia Historical Society is currently hos ng a new exhibit called
"Weddings". We have over 40 wedding dresses, men's wedding suits, wedding
veils from 1895 through 1970. We also have over 200 wedding pictures, some
vintage wedding cards and wedding cake toppers. We are open Sunday, August
4th 1-4 PM and Wednesday, August 21st 5-8 PM. This event is free and family

Ethan, August, Kolbe, and I want to thank everyone
for all of their support for us during my
hospitaliza on and all of the encouragement you
con nue to give while we wait for him to come home
with us. The staff at Sparrow joked that I had a fan
club based on all of the cards everyone sent, and each card warmed our
hearts and gave us the strength we needed to keep trus ng in the Lord.
All of your prayers provided grace upon grace that helped us to be joyful,
hopeful, and grateful for all that God was doing for and through us. We
truly believe that our community of prayer warriors led the way for
Kolbe’s miraculous birth. Thank you so much for everything you did and
all that you con nue to do. God bless you!
THANK YOU RED CROSS BLOOD DONORS!
Thank you donors for showing up for the July blood drive. We collected
46 pints of life saving blood. Our apologies go out to any walk-in donors that were turned away as well as those donors that experienced a long
wait. The Red Cross arrived under-staffed for this par cular drive. We do
not an cipate this happening again. Mark your calendars for the next
blood drive to be held from 1-7 pm, September 9th, at St. Mary Parish

The family of Eddie Schmitz would like to express our hear\elt “Thank
