SEA provides a solution to the challenges in connecting power and control from devices to shore.

The Drymate Connectivity System provides power and control connection from tidal, wave and wind turbine generating equipment through various sized composite cables.

SEA provides a pressure balanced make and break connector. The connection is Partial Discharge free, testable and a stop-end solution allowing full energisation and testing of the terminated cable.

The connection can be returned to a stop-end termination at any time, without the need to replace the assembly.

SEA offers complete installation and connectivity by a qualified and experienced Subsea Engineering team. Their skill set includes fibre optic splicing, high voltage jointing and mechanical assembly and they are fully offshore certified and supported by an in-house engineering team.

• Attached to a composite cable and left as a stop-end allowing cable integrity to be tested

• Converted to a splice/connector by populating and installing the second half of the frame

• Recovered from the seabed by defined attachment points

• Bend stiffeners control the stress induced into the cables

• Deployed in seas with high current flow due to the free flooding design of the frame

• Utilised for up to 25 years due to built-in cathodic protection

• Adaptable to meet individual customer requirements

• Two-part cathodically protected frame assembly

• Facility to terminate power cores – up to 36kV
