generation PRIMERGY dual-socket IntelXeon blade and proves our continuing

commitment to the advancement of blade

technology. Built around the Dual-Core and

Quad-Core Intel Xeon Processors and a

Fully Buffered DIMM memory subsystem,

the PRIMERGY BX620 S4 offers industry

leading blade performance. Enhanced I/O

including six integrated Ethernet adapters

provides robust communications bandwidth.

Its unique storage module solution allows

you to choose hard drive technology that

best meets your needs. High performance

SAS drives combined with a full RAID

controller with 256 MB cache memory givethe PRIMERGY BX620 S4 the ability to

run demanding enterprise applications or

midrange databases. No other vendor offers

this combination of expansion options and

cutting edge technology in a server blade.

The No Compromise

Blade Server

The PRIMERGY BX620 S4 server blade

is a part of the PRIMERGY BX600 family

of blade products which also includes the

PRIMERGY BX600 S3 chassis and the

PRIMERGY BX630 AMD Opteron

server blade. PRIMERGY BX600 serverblades offer the power of a rack mount

server with the density, power savings, and

manageability of server blades. All PRIMERGY

server blades support full speed processors,

integrated Gigabit Ethernet, and extensive

I/O expansion options. Hot plug hard drives

and Integrated RAID 1 mirroring offered

on every PRIMERGY blade guards the

system against hard drive failure. Optional

bre channel and Gigabit Ethernet upgrades

provide robust bandwidth to the process-

ing power of the server blades. A PCI slot

option is also available for PRIMERGY

blades, increasing their exibility. This

rich set of available options make the

PRIMERGY BX600 the rst platform

that can truly be considered a rack server
