    LAUNCHING: NATSEC ASIA!

National Security Asia 2018 (NATSEC Asia 2018) is the newly launched international exhibition on national security for Asia by the team of the Defence Services Asia (DSA) series of exhibitions.

NATSEC Asia is set to become a truly dedicated national security show which will be complimented by a High-Level Security Conference.

This unique and niche collaboration will surely expand DSA’s portfolio of serving both the defence and security markets for the region. DSA will be one of its kind where everything for the military forces as well as national security forces will be intensely and widely covered within a single venue allowing these sectors to merge and create effective synergies.

Another undeniable unique aspect of this combination is where NATSEC Asia will be able to tap in to DSA’s globally revered VIP delegation management system. There will also be new profiles under the National Security banner which will increase the overall quantity, but more importantly the quality of the delegations delivered during the four days to both events.

NATSEC Asia 2018 and DSA 2018 are expected to welcome over 300 VVIPs from 40 regions with more delegations from the National Security sector.

    YOUTH PROGRAMME

500 youths took part in the DSA 2016 Youth Programme which was a joint collaboration between the Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Ministry of Higher Education.

The Programme was segmented into 3 layers: • DSA Volunteers • DSA Guided Learning Tour • DSA Conferences

This programme was developed with the intention of giving Youths a more hands-on experience and exposure about the

    defence and security industry.

To add value to Exhibitors’ participation at the show, the Malaysian Ministry of Defence signed and announced contracts and MoUs. At DSA 2016, a record RM2.9 billion worth of defence contracts were signed, exceeding the RM1.86 billion signed

at DSA 2014, representing a 56% increase. This will again be a vital feature in DSA 2018.

that took place during the event.
