    CODE OF CONDUCT

    Key Points:

    All employees are expected to behave honestly and with integrity at all times,

    whether in dealing with fellow employees, the general public, the business

    community, civic organizations, customers, suppliers or governmental and regulatory

    authorities.

    Company policy promotes honest and ethical conduct, including the ethical handlingof actual or apparent conflicts of interest between personal and professional

    relationships.

    Employees may not compete with the company or take personal advantage of

    business opportunities that the Company might want to pursue, and avoid actual or

    potential Conflict of interests.

    Neither the employers nor the employees are supposed to be engaged in any form of

    discrimination (on the basis of colour, religion, ethnicity, race etc.) inside the

    organization or the work place.

    All personnel should maintain the confidentiality of information entrusted to them by

    the Company, except when disclosure is duly authorized.

    Employees should safeguard the companys assets and ensure their efficient use.

    Any violation of this code must be immediately reported to the HR Manager. Strict

    action will be taken on violation of any/all of these defined codes.

    Why Do We Have This Policy?

    Daudsons (Pvt) Ltd. Has adopted this Code of Conduct to set high standards of

    ethical business conduct and to provide guidance applicable to every employee of the

    Company. Daudsons (Pvt) Ltd. May modify or update these more specific policies

    and procedures from time to time and adopt new company policies and procedures in

    the future.

    THE BASICS

    Purpose:

    The purpose of this Code is to ensure that the Companys policies and procedures are

    effectively implemented. However this Code is not intended to cover, every applicable law,

    address all possible business dealings, nor does it provide answers to all questions that may

    arise in connection with the issues raised.

    Scope:

    This policy applies to all personnel working or associated with Daudsons Armoury (Pvt) Ltd.

    POLICY AND PROCEDURES

    Discrimination:

    The Company is firmly committed to providing equal opportunity in all aspects of

    employment and will not tolerate any illegal discrimination of any kind.

    Discrimination may involve on the basis of colour, race, ethnicity, religion, disability

    etc.

    Health & Safety:

    Since this industry involves working with explosives and heavy machinery, every

    employee has a responsibility for maintaining a safe and healthy workplace for all

    employees by following safety and health rules and practices and reporting accidents,

    injuries and unsafe equipment.

    At Daudsons Armoury we follow strict safety procedures in order to keep the

    workplace environment safe. Every worker is obligated to wear all necessary safety

    equipment(safety goggles, gloves, work boots, special costume etc.) provided to

    him/her by the Company as per their job descriptions.

    Political Influence:

    Daudsons (Pvt) Ltd. does not support or take part in any political activities

    whatsoever and also advises the same to the employees and employers not to bring

    politics at the work place.

    Although employees may take part in political activities as private citizens.

    Confidentiality of Information:

    All employees and employers must respect the confidentiality of information and

    should not disclose any information regarding the Company, until and unless dulyauthorized by the concerned authorities.

    Confidential information includes various kinds of information including internal,

    proprietary or secret information related to the Companys business, operations and

    research.

    The obligation to preserve confidential information continues even after association

    with the Company ends.

    Fair Dealing:

    No employee or employer should take unfair advantage of anyone through

    manipulation and/or misrepresentation of material facts or any other unfair dealing

    practice. Strict action shall be taken against the violator of this code; may resulting in

    losing his/her job.

    Harassment:

    The company is committed to providing its employees with a work environment free

    of any type of harassment, including any deliberate discrimination or harassment, in

    word or action against a fellow employee or applicant for employment.

    Conflict of Interests:

    Daudsons Armoury promotes honest and ethical conduct including handling of

    Conflict of interests between personal and professional relationships.

    A Conflict of Interest occurs when an individuals private interest interferes with the

    interest of the Company as a whole.

    A conflict of interest arises when a persons personal interest does not let him do his

    job effectively. Therefore personnel working at Daudsons Armoury are advised to

    keep their personal interests aside while working at the Company.

    Bribes & Other Unlawful Payments:

    Daudsons Armoury strictly prohibits payment or receipt of any bribe or other

    unlawful payment to others for favours or preferential treatment.

    Compliance and Reporting:

    Employees and employers are required to report on a name or anonymous basis anyact or conduct that is violating this Code.

    All complaints of violations are to be lodged at the HR Managers office.

    The procedure for filing a complaint is as follows:

    1. By making a call to the HR Manager using a non-company telephone and informing

    him of the violation.

    2. By emailing or faxing at the HR Managers office email address or phone number.

    3. By sending him a letter at his work address.

    It will be helpful to the Companys investigation of any such suspected violations if

    communication is as specific as possible with regard to (i) nature of the suspected

    conduct, (ii) person(s) involved, (iii) when it took place, (iv) where did it took place

    and (v) why do you think of it as unethical?

    Alcohol and Drugs:

    The Company is committed to providing a safe and healthy workplace from the

    influence of alcohol or drugs. There the Company has banned the use of Alcohol and

    Drugs within the premises and also strictly advises the employees not to come at

    work under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.

    Employee - Employer Relations:

    At Daudsons Armoury we encourage and take strong meausres in order to ensure astrong employee employer relation. For any business to run smoothly it is absolutely

    necessary that employee employer relations are strong and active as they are the

    driving force.

    Therefore at DSA we have frequent meetings and discussions where superior officers

    and junior workers are all present. All the issues are discussed with everyone, no

    decision is made without the consent of others to make everything more transparent.

    We also make sure that no discrimination or harassment is allowed from either side.

    Equality is the top priority when dealing with employees so that everyone gets a

    chance to represent himself/herself while making sure no favouritism or any other

    unethical conduct is allowed. Every decision is strictly based on Merit.

    Company - Customer Relations:

    We at DSA focus immensely on good company customer relations, the main reason

    being that a healthy feedback from customers enables us to anticipate the consumers

    demands and as well as provide them with better quality products.

    Our customers are sub categorised as follows:

    (a) Individual vendors

    (b) Pakistan Armed Forces

    Providing armaments to our Armed forces is a matter of pride for us therefore we

    make sure that they are always satisfied with our products therefore we constantly

    remain in contact so they could update us regarding our products performance.

    Company - Supplier Relations:

    At DSA we keep strong relations with our suppliers as they are the backbone of our

    industry. We ensure that we make timely payments to the suppliers, treat them with

    courtesy and respect. We are fair in our dealings and do not engage in anything

    unlawful or unethical.

    Workplace Diversity Training Programme

    Daudsons Armoury also runs a Workplace Diversity Training Programme that is compulsory

    for all workers that have been hired.

    Its a 1 day, 4 hour workshop that the new employees have to attend.

    This progamme educates the employees on the following:

    - Discrimination & Harassment.

    - What is to be done?

    - Whom to report?

    - How to report?

    - Following investigative procedures.

    In general this programme trains the employees to avoid any type of discrimination and

    harassment in the workplace and what their course of action should be if faced by such a

    situation.
