The A.G.M went well & smooth on 28th April at Central Nursery with a good turnout. Thank you very much for coming - we appreciated your feedback & lots of new ideas on how to improve DSF.

Helen the Chair gave a positive report on what had happened at DSF last year. Grace the treasurer explained about improving DSF accounts and showed us financial reports.

Happy Birthday!!

On 31st March at ‘Littleones’, 20 toddlers had a great time at Easter party, enjoying the Easter egg hunt in the crèche garden in lovely sunny weather. They were dressed up with fabulous creative Easter hats. Brady won best Easter hat competition with choc Easter bunny prize, well done! All went home with a choc egg pressie from DSF though!

EASTER PARTY

Please support us by donating any old/’almost new’ baby clothes & toys you want to give away. Save your storage space! Please contact Gene to drop off at her house, please before Friday 5th June deadline. This helps us raise money for holiday trips with Kidzone — like reduced tickets for zoo/theme parks or help with minibus hire cost.

NEED YOUR HELP!

MANY THANKS!

For generous donations from: George Taylor, CODA* & Interpreter(BSL Talking Hands), is happy to donate his interpreting fee from Deaf Comedy Night at the Guildhall theatre on Saturday 6th June 7.30pm. Darley Abbey Village Hall decided to choose DSF as their local charity this year - will give us a small award of funding from their Festival Day on Saturday 6th June 1-5pm this year. It is a good fun day out for all families. We plan to have a fundraising stall next to Village Hall with ‘nearly new’ baby/kids toys, clothes so come & see us!

NEW BABY BOY! Lewis was born on Sun 10th May at 5.48pm weight 5lb 14 oz to happy parents, Jacqui & Phil Jarman. Tiny and beautiful!

* CODA = Children Of Deaf Adults
