Easy installation
LG ducted split units provide many time and money saving features.
Micom ControlTime delay relay, anti-short-cycle timer no more required with micom control. Initial cost saving, since the
functions of these parts are the main feature of micom control.
Easy access remote controllerRemote controller has 3 wires only.
This is another cost and time saving installation feature.
The wiring of low voltage to the unit and remote controller is easy as brown-brown, red-red, yellow-yellow
connections.
This simplified system makes it easier for the installer to attach.
Compact and light weight design
This range of LG units are suitable for high static requirement s used for light commercial & commercial
application. The Units are completely assembled, piped and wired in the factory. The indoor and outdoor units
are separately packed & shipped.
Each unit has been tested for pressure and has a holding charge of R22 for storage and for shipping.
The compact design, quiet operation and higher cooling capacity makes the condensing units suitable for any
outdoor location. Light Weight air-handlers make them suitable for ceiling application.
All shipped metal parts are made of commercial grade galvanized steel.
After fabrication, each part is cleaned & coated with baked enamel paint. A complete line of high static blower
units are available for precise capacity of application. All indoor units are equipped with micro-processor
controlled wired remote controller.

Ducted Split2-4
Waterproof cabinets are constructed of galvanized steel with powder coated painting.
Compact size enables the unit to be located where space is limited.
Condenser fin guard is designed for safety against sharp edge of outdoor coil.
Micom Control - Reduce the number of components to operate the unit .
- Component failure is reduced.
- Cooling mode controlled by Micom control through input signal from indoor and outdoor temperature sensor.
- Field installed anti short cycle timer and time delay relay not required with micom control.
- Humidifier can be controlled by micom control.
Tight Top Cover and Cabinet
- The units incorporate two or three layers top cover. The two or three piece layers overlaps in such a way that
water cannot leak into the unit. These overlapped edges are gasketed and sealed to ensure superior water
integrity.
Durable, dependable components
• Gradual power supply for fans, compressor and heater by staging through micom control.
• In case of power failure, Micom control remembers the previous running condition before power failure.
The unit will start again in previous mode when power re-energized.
Micom Control
• LG Ducted split unit have been rigorously life tested at the factory for more than 1 500 hours.
• All of LG Outdoor units were rigorously rain tested at the factory to ensure water tight integrity.
• Actual shipping tests are performed to determine the best packing. Units are shipped around the country to
obtain the best packaging test result.
These test assure that the unit will arrive at your job site in best condition.
• We perform 100% coil leak test at the factory. The indoor coil and outdoor coils are leak tested at 200psig
and pressure tested to 500psig respectively.
• Every unit goes full run test to meet LG standards requirements.
• Before units are shipped, 5 units which are selected by sampling undergo STLT(Short Time Life Test) are for
more than 300 hours.
• All LG Ducted split units undergo overload cooling tested(ambient temp is 129°F). In this condition, units oper-
ated continuously without any problem.

Cooling & Fan Operation :
- LG ducted split air conditioners can provide cooling & fan operation. In the cooling mode, it cools the air with
an operation range of 18~30°C. In the fan operation mode, only indoor fan at the selected speed will run, out-
door fan and compressor will be off.
Basic & Optional Features
Wired Remote Control:
- It can control all the functions of the unit. Y ou can
c h e c k / s e t t e m p e r a t u r e , s e t t i m e r , h o l i d a y & a l s o
diagnose the error of the unit. It also has the option
of weekly program.
W eekl y Pr ogram:
- It provides on/of f schedule of operation for a period of one week.
T ime Delay Safety Function:
- It delays restarting of the compressor by three minutes preventing any damage to the compressor .

Gold Fin Anti Corrosion
- LG’s Outdoor Heat Exchanger is coated with a golden
anti-corrosive epoxy treatment on the aluminum coil to
minimized corrosion. This maintains heat transfer pro-
perties of the coil for an extended time where as non-
Gold Fin coils progressively lose efficiency due to sur-
face corrosion. Standard on every LG air conditioner,

- This function provides diagnosis of the unit. An error code will be displayed on the LCD wired remote controller &
diagnosis can be done as per the code indication. The same is also printed on key cover of the LCD wired remote
controller.

Child Lock Function:
- It prevents the children or others from tampering with
t h e c o n t r o l b u t t o n s . U n i t c a n b e c o n t r o l l e d b y t h e
wireless remote controller . This can be easily set by
p r e s s i n g t i m e r k e y & M i n k e y s i m u l t a n e o u s l y . A f t e r
child lock is set, pressing any key will display CL on
the LCD for 3 seconds and all the keys are inef fec-
tive.

Mechanical Specifications
GeneralAir handling units shall be completely factory asembled including coil drain pan, Blower motor and controls inan insulated casing that can be applied in horizontal or vertical configuration.
Units shall be rated in accordance with ARI standard testing procedure, fully changed with R22. Units shallfully factory tested before shipment.
CasingUnit casing shall be constructed of having gauge zinc coated, galvanized steel. The cabinet shall be exteriorpainted and weather resistance.
The condensing units shall have a water and air tight service panels with minimum number of screws per panelfor easy servicing.
CompressorsLG Ducted Split System units shall have direct drive hermetic compressor, reciprocating type with internal builtin lubricating mechanism for all moving parts. Motor shall be suction gas cooled with internal temperature andover current sensitive motor over load, for maximum protection. Factory rubber shock mounted and internallyspring isolation for sound and vibration control.
Refrigerant CircuitsEach refrigerant circuit shall have an independent fixed capillary tube devices and service pressure ports, andrefrigerant line filter(factory-installed) as standard.
Evaporator and Condenser CoilsShall be aluminum plate fins, mechanically bonded to copper tubes.
Coil shall be factory tested for leakage and pressure.
Outdoor FansStatically and dynamically, direct drive outdoor fan in Horizontal discharge position. Permanentlylubricated fan motors with built in thermal overload protection.
Indoor Fan
ControlsAll units shall be controlled by thermostat.Time delay PCB shall provide time delay between Fan and Compressor.
M echanical Specifications
Direct drive indoor fan for over 15RT units with forward curve centrifugal fans. Belt drive indoor fan for all mod-els above 7.5RT. All motors shall be thermally overload protected.
