RURAI", LABOURERS _ AUGUST" iOrII' The AllJndia consumer Price Inclex Numbers for Agricultural Laboluers and RLlral Labourers(Base: 1986-87=100) for the month of August,.20l7 increas; by'ib points each to stanJ at g9a (Eighthundred and ninety four) and 900 (Nine huidred) points respectiuly.

2' The rise in index varied from state to state. In case of Agricultural Labourers, it recorded anincrease betrveen 2 to 19 points in all 20 States. Karnataka with-1063 points topped the index tablewhereas Bihar with 731 points stood at the bottom.
