All DTS kits and parts sold are warranted to be free from defects in material or workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of invoice. DTS reserves the right to choose between repair, replacement or refund and will assess on an individual basis. This warranty does not extend to labour costs of diagnostic time, incidental or consequential damages or expenses. If a defective product is replaced it will be warranted for either the remainder of the original warranty period or 120 days; whichever is longer.

This warranty applies to DTS kits and parts used under normal operating conditions and service. This warranty does not cover failures caused by incorrect operation, modification, negligence, misuse, abuse, fuel or oil contamination or fire damage.

DTS warranty will not be provided unless DTS kits and parts are fitted by a DTS authorised installer. For more information on installation warranty please contact your place of purchase and installation.

The DTS turbocharger system increases power output of the 5LE 3.0L engine from 71kW to 104 kW giving an increase of 46%. Torque is up from 200Nm to 286Nm providing an increase of 43%.

The DTS turbocharger system works in conjunction with a Rapid module (see page 14) or a similar control unit to adjust fuel settings as the pump is electronically controlled on this engine.

QualITy dTS TurbochargerS

DTS manufacture two up grade packages for Nissan Patrol 4.2L Factory Turbo Diesel.

Stage 1 Involves a redesigned Turbine Wheel at the exhaust end of the turbocharger, complete with high flow dump pipe and 3inch high flow constant radius exhaust system. Testing has proven power levels of up to 35% Increase over Factory standard engine.

Stage 2 Involves the induction and exhaust side of the turbocharger, a redesigned Compressor Wheel and Turbine Wheel, complete with high flow dump pipe and 3inch high flow constant radius exhaust system. Testing has proven power levels of up to 42% Increase over Factory standard engine.

Stage 1 and 2 Peak power levels will be determined by the condition and tune of the engine. Turbocharger Dump Pipe and Exhaust System can be purchased separately.

DTS Turbo Systems are supplied with only the highest quality Mitsubishi TD04 and TD05 turbochargers. They are matched to the vehicle and provide high performance and long life. These turbochargers are ideal for Australian conditions.

Boost Control Valves regulate charge air pressures from the turbo charger. They can be fitted to any engine with a waste gate actuator. Fitted in line before the waste gate actuator, this controller will raise “boost” pressures. Resulting in mid- range and top end performance. Ask your local dealer for more information on installation and how this valve can benefit your vehicle.

Note: When fitting boost control valves, air/fuel ratios need to be checked to ensure correct pressure settings as over boosting can result in premature engine failure.

A cost effective replacement for your expensive original fuel filter.

This is a common CAV Filter adaptor to fit your 4x4 vehicle using an Australian made adaptor. This adaptor enables fuel quality inspection through a glass bowl and is an economical replacement to the genuine filter.

The filter adaptor can be fitted quickly and simply.

Diesel engines are compression-ignition engines. When the engine is cold or in cool climate conditions, igniting the diesel fuel air mixture without preheating can lead to hard starting and smoky, rough running engines. Glow plugs are used to preheat the combustion chamber aiding ignition of the diesel air fuel mixture. HKT have a comprehensive range to suit your application. Using the latest technology materials, glow times can be reduced for quicker start up times and smoother cold running.

Catch cans are fitted to the engine breather hose between the rocker cover and the air intake system.The catch can will collect oil being drawn into the air intake of the turbocharger and/or inlet manifold.

The DTS Oil Catch Cans are manufactured using durable nylon which is heat resistant and pressure rated.

Catch cans and alloy fuel surge tanks can specifically bemanufactured to suit your specific requirements.

RAPID PERFORMANCE MODULE

Rapid ECU Performance Modules are available for electronically controlled turbo diesel vehicles. Through state of the art digital technology, Rapid Modules can obtain up to 25% increases in both power and torque, with the added benefit of optimising fuel consumption.

Rapid Modules perform their function by adjusting the signals of the engines ECU directed to the injection system in both a protected and independent manner. The modules can be customised to your specific needs, with the use of a digital programming console, a qualified technician is able to adjust the setting values of the module to obtain a ‘tailor-made’ tune. Rapid Modules work within the parameters of the ECU systems, respecting the safety ranges imposed by the vehicle manufacturer.

Rapid ECU Performance Modules include an on/off switch, which can be placed into the dashboard or wherever desired which allows the driver to switch between original and modified power modes.

Rapid Modules are quick and easy to install with no modifications required to the original mechanics of the vehicle. All kits are supplied with detailed instructions and comply with quality control requirements ISO 9001.
