Restrepois a feature-length documentary that chronicles the deployment of a platoon of U.S.soldiers in Afghanistan's Korengal Valley. It was considered one of the most dangerous postingsthe U.S. military. The only goal is to make viewers feel as if they have just been through a 90-minute deployment. This is war, full stop. The conclusions are up to you.

After the film, we will have a discussion moderated by Dr. Thomas Walker, Program Director forIntergroup Relations at DUs Center for Multicultural Excellence. We encourage participation by veterans and civilians alike.

The Department of Veterans Affairs will be hosting an Information Day in the Denver VA MedicaCenter Auditorium from 8AM-Noon. This off-campus event is an opportunity for any veteran to fiinformation about (and assistance applying for) anyVA benefit they may be entitled to. They willhave information on such programs as Healthcare Eligibility and Enrollment, Women VeteransProgram, Jobs with the VA, Mental Health Services, Compensation and Pension, GI Bill, VA HoLoan, Survivor Benefits and much more.

If you are unable to attend the VA Information Day on the 8th, Mr Charles Bruen, OEF/OIFManager for the Denver VA Regional Office, will be available all day for questions and enrollmenon the Driscoll Bridge. In addition, he will present a one-hour briefing on a variety of VA benefitsthe Commerce Room (behind the Jazzmans Cafe) from 1230130PM.
