Dundee Rep Theatre is the home of
Scottish Dance Theatre
Choreographers are invited to make
new contemporary dance work
with the company of 10 dancers.
The company then tours the U.K and,
increasingly, worldwide.
Between 2014 – 2016, the company performed in India, China, Romania,
Brazil, Belgium and Mexico
The dancers performed in Bruges in Belgium in December.

In September, three of us travelled to Rio Di Janeiro to work in
Centro des Artes in Mare, a huge favela in the city.

In 2014, the company undertook a 7 week tour of India and China, presenting performances and
workshops.

• Kolkata - skills share with Sanved Ranan who improve the life of vulnerable people using Dance Movement Therapy
• Pondicherry - inter-disciplinary Collabatory with Scottish and Indian artists from dance, visual arts, theatre and music
• The Sundarbans - the area is isolated by its location in a mangrove ecosystem influenced by daily tidal flows. We worked with 35 young people in the school playground on Bali Island and also with a women’s group, Disha.
