Play Safe!

Safety, accessibility, and durability are the most important elements to consider when choosing a playground surfacing. Statistically, 75%-80% of injuries to children on playgrounds occur when a child falls to an unsafe surface. Realistically, the surface you choose is the most important decision you make concerning your playground project. Today, it is important not only to provide a safe play environment that meets ADA requirements; but also to protect your facility from lawsuits resulting from possible injuries. GO GREEN!The DuraPlay Surfacing System was "green" before green was status quo. We produce sustainable playgrounds for children to play on today, never losing sight of the importance of preserving precious resources for them tomorrow. You can be assured that every poured-in-place surface you purchase from DuraPlay is designed to stand the test of time, with minimal impact on the environment both during its production and life.

Call DuraPlay today for a consultation with our experienced staff and get the facts you need to make the best choice for your surfacing requirements. Poured in place surfacing is our specialty… and we do it right!

Edge Detail Applying DuraPlay Surfacing makes playgrounds, pool decks, walkways and athletic surfaces safer to use. The DuraPlay Surfacing System exceeds CPSC Guidelines for ASTM 1292. Its maintenance-free feature insures consistent fall protection, unlike loose-fill surfacing options that require daily attention and maintenance.

DuraPlay Safety Surfacing provides a seamless, non-slip wearing surface fully accessible to everyone, including physically challenged children and adults. This ADA compliant surfacing is self- contained, allowing no loose particles to escape in shoes or pockets, while providing a safe, clean recreational surface.

DuraPlay offers a creative way to keep tires out of our country’s landfills. Thousands of recycled tires are used monthly in our surfacing. We are proud of our efforts to help solve America’s rapidly growing waste problem.

DuraPlay, Inc. remains in full quality control, never subcontracting to less experienced installation crews. Using the best materials available along with seasoned, in-house installers, DuraPlay achieves the ultimate quality in poured-in-place seamless rubber surfacing.

DuraPlay™ Safety SurfacingDuraPlay safety surfacing is constructed largely of recycled rubber. This SBR rubber is combined with high-tech polyurethane binder and hand troweled over a prepared substrate to create the cushioned base. Different fall height requirements are achieved through varying the thickness of the base. Once the base cures, EPDM rubber granules mixed with an aromatic or aliphatic (non-ambering) binder are evenly troweled over the top, creating the beautiful, resilient wearing surface. This completes the safest, most versatile surfacing system available today. Compare for yourself.
