The Dusters Bird series is a new line of short rippable cruisers. A retro style shape with modern concave and kick in the nose and tail. The new 7 ply 25” and 27” shapes are small enough to strap on your backpack and big enough to kickflip off the curb while cruising around town. This season we pay homage to three of skateboardings greats. Guy Grundy, Russ Howell, and Cindy Whitehead. In 1975 Guy Grundy went balls to the walls and challenged the legendary Signal Hill, he not only won the race, but became the world skateboard speed record holder at 50.2mph. Russ Howell has always skated with style and strength, in the 1970s he was one of the top freestyle skaters of the era and he continued to serve the sport as ambassador of skateboarding. In a time when a female skateboarder was almost unheard of, Cindy Whitehead was out showing the guys how to rip. She played an important role in the progression of female skaters in the vert scene and continues to promote girls in skating with her “Girl is not a 4 letter word” brand.

Dusters is proud to be associated with Guy, Russ and Cindy, not only for their past achievements, but also for their continued dedication and promotion of skateboarding.

“Girl is not a 4 letter word” is a collaboration with 70’s pro skater Cindy Whitehead and GRO (Girls Riders Organization). This board supports “Longboarding for Peace”, and not only acknowledges, but encourages ALL female skaters. A portion of the proceeds will go to GRO, a non-profit that inspires, educates, and supports girls in action sports.


Dusters California commemorates the 50th anniversary of The Endless Summer with our latest collaboration. This quintessential surf film made a massive impact not only on the surf and skate community, but on pop culture as a whole, effecting millions over the past 50 years. Jimi Hendrix’s music and personality has been a huge influence to different generations, especially in the formative days of skateboarding. Inspired by his style and iconic image, we offer an original longboard using the official art of “Axis Bold as Love” and the “Purple Haze”cruiser which uses authentic concert photographs. The Dusters Wake was designed for speed. The directional shape with medium concave is sturdy and comfortable at high speeds. The Drop through construction allows for a lower center of gravity for an easier push and more stability at full speed.
