DW 9000 SERIES PEDALS feature a rotating swivel spring to increase effi ciency on the down stroke and return stroke, creating less resistance and an incredibly smooth feel. All 9000 Series pedals include a nylon strap for easy conversion from chain drive to nylon strap drive, a dual adjustable toe clamp and a patented Delta ball bearing hinge. (U.S. Patent No. 5431081)

THE FREE-FLOATING ROTOR drive system allows the shaft to turn independently of the rotor, directing energy from the pedal board straight to the beater. The design also uses friction-reducing ball bearings to optimize the already incredibly smooth, gravity-defying action.

THE SINGLE POST CASTING design on DW’s double pedals provides ease of movement between the pedal and hi-hat, also allowing the pedals to be played independently or simultaneously. (U.S. Patent No. 5396826)

Spring Rocker

CONSISTING OF THREE INTEGRAL ELEMENTS, DW’s Delta Tri-Bearing System forms the core of the 5000 Series Delta pedals. The fi rst part, DW’s patented Ball Bearing Hinge, is state-of-the-art in hinge design. The ball bearings virtually eliminate friction while keeping perfect alignment so you can feel the footboard working with you. The second element of the Delta Tri-Bearing system is the Spring Rocker. Bearings employed at either side of the post casting reduce friction and complete the Delta system.
