1. Prior to planting, dig in organic matter such as Gardener’s Friend or Moo Poo.
2. Fill hole with water and allow it to drain away.
3. Trim roots if required.
4. If in a windy spot, stake trees for the first
couple of years and tie with Jolly Tree Ties.
5. Plant at the same depth as the soil line
on the trunk. DO NOT cover graft union.
6. Water in well, mulch with straw or compost.
We guarantee that our bare-rooted stock will break dormancy and leaf up. Please ensure you follow planting instructions, select a suitable site & follow a regular watering regime.
Be aware that some plants may not break dormancy for several months (eg; Almonds, Mulberries, etc.). Should your tree/rose be slow to bud up please contact us to register your claim.
DO NOT return the plant until advised to do so as this may damage the plant & could void your warranty. Staff will advise as to which course of action to take. All claims must be registered by November 30th - No claims will be considered after this date.
