For shear loads acting toward the edge(s) of the concrete, the above edge distances and spacings are not applicable, please consult Ramset Technical Consultant. The factor of safety applied for steel is 2.2 in tension and 2.5 in shear. The factor of safety applied for concrete is 3.0.

DYNABOLT Sleeve AnchorsDynaBolt is a general purpose all steel medium duty through fi xing for masonry and concrete. Our patented design sleeve anchor has a unique ability to “pull-down” and ensure a tight and secure anchoring of your fi xture.

FEATURES• Through fi xing - no marking out and repositioning.• Fully assembled.• Variety of head styles.• Unique sleeve design collapses during tightening to provide pulldown onto fi xture.• Integral nut and washer.

MATERIALSCarbon SteelStainless Steel: AISI 316

SURFACE FINISHZinc Colbolt alloy plating with chromate conversion coating.Hot dipped galvanized to AS1650-1989.

1. Use fi xture as a template, drill a hole to the correct diameter and depth. Clean hole thoroughly with brush.

2. Remove debris by way of a vacuum or hand pump, compresses air, etc. Insert anchor tightly against fi xture and tighten with spanner.

3. Continue tightening, allowing the sleeve to twist and pull down the fi xture fi rmly onto the base material.

INSTALLATION

UNIQUE “PULL-DOWN” CAPABILITY ENSURES SECURE CLAMPING

The DynaBolt TM Sleeve Anchors “pull-down” capability ensures the fi xture is tightly clamped to the concrete surface. This unique patented feature collapses during tightening, allowing the typical gaps that are left between fi xture and concrete after initial anchor insertion, to be completely eliminated.

DECORATIVE HEAD

The decorative heads are available for aesthetically pleasing fi nish, together with all the benefi ts of DynaBolt TM Sleeve Anchors to securely anchor.
