Setting the scene
• Our role is to encourage social landlords to deliver good quality cost effective services for tenants and other service users
• We support tenants of social housing to hold landlords to account for the services they provide
• Encourage landlords to put tenants at the heart of their activities.

• Discontent • Apprehension • What is Dyslexia? • Lack of awareness
The outcomes • Dyslexia is unique to each person • Staff member was able to give an
overview of difficulties (supported by Cathy and Fiona)
• Adjustments could be made to assist with day to day tasks
• And…..
Reflection and some kind words.
• A huge weight had been lifted as my guilty secret was no more!
• A little change can make a big difference! • I liked how the training was not about me but
about symptoms of a number of conditions. • I learned lots too!
What happened next
• Different person after training• Wore her glasses with pride! • Happier team • Promotion • Goodbye…..• The team have benefitted and we adopted
good practice as a result of this training!
