A web Application

• It allows a job seekers and college students to get latest and correct placement information through Java Messaging Services cum GSM channel.

• E Campus allows various companies to register and upload their various job requirements and campus information. It has integrated into Messaging Application & GSM Handling System. Messaging Application is used create, send, receive and read messages using reliable asynchronous and loosely coupled communication mechanism (Java Message Service). GSM Handling System receives and sends SMS messages.

• Another web application running at the college level uses the E Campus Message Service to receive companies requirements through JMS messages. The recipient of the message (other college/university applications) automatically matches their students profiles with companies requirements and sends response to E Campus through JMS .It also allows Students to view the messages containing the campus and placement information through web interface. E Campus gets matched profiles of all college students and recommends a company to place campus at the colleges.

• Job market has been very unstable and each time there is a requirement for a particular skill, there has been problem in finding a perfect resource whose skill matches the requirements for the job. Though there are many commercial job sites available, particular for college system there is no any such placement site, and we have initiated an internal project to create a job site that will be used by the college and also by a job seeker . This will also have some additional technically enriched features.

• In the present project “E campus”, we are building up a system which will automatically match the companies recruitment requirements with the job seekers and provide them with the job. Before starting with the brief description of the project we need to clear out the fact that the present project is no way concerned with the NAUKRI.COM as its working is based on an JMS, processing according to a scheduled timer. This JMS receives the companies requirements in the form of message, informs the respective job seeker about the particular job.

• Though there are many commercial recruitment site available in market, no any site provide facility to register any college to arrange campus interview for eligible student of colleges according to skill sets provided by college & companies. Until now there is arrangement campus interview in colleges is done manually which is more time consuming & costly.

• So there must be any system which provides facility to register college & provide campus interview information for eligible student of colleges according to skill sets provided by college & companies. Also this system must have faster approach to student as well as external jobseeker.
