OCWP Process for Students and Institutions

1. Student accesses the client services page on the CIC website2. Student logs into MyCIC3. Student submits an initial eligibility verification4. DIR receives e-mailed notification of receipt of a request5. DIR logs into the Partner Portal6. DIR accesses ENS7. DIR selects the request from the queue8. DIR completes and submits the request9. Student receives e-mailed notification of a message in MyCIC10. Message in MyCIC message box contains result of request, and

contains hyperlinks to OCWP e-application & paper kit if approved11. Student applies for OCWP using e-Application or prints verification

result & attaches to paper application

Statistics: Usage by Foreign Students

• 33% take-up rate in September• > 90% pay online• > 80% scan & attach supporting documents• > 1,100 EVN requests submitted• > 1,100 e-Applications submitted to CIC• > 1,500 e-Applications started, in progress• > 250 surveys completed, over 90% would apply

online again
