BENDIGO EASTER FAIR SOCIETYThe Bendigo Easter Fair Society is a community based, not for profi t organisation that has been involved in running the Easter Festival since 1871. For support, membership enquiries and information visit www.bendigoeasterfairsociety.org.au
FESTIVAL ACCESSIBILITYParade viewingAlong the parade route there will be designated viewing areas for people using motorised scooters and wheelchairs. These areas will be clearly signed. Please be considerate and keep these areas clear.Accessible locations include Alexandra Fountain, Pall Mall (at Sidney Myer Place and Bull Street intersection) and McCrae Street car park.
MarvelooLocated in the McCrae Street car park, the Marveloo is an accessible restroom catering for people with a profound disability and their carer. The facility provides accessible features such as an overhead hoist, adult change table, access ramp and automatic door.
HYDRATION STATIONA Coliban Water hydration station is available at the festival precinct to refi ll your water bottles, located in Rosalind Park near the Sidney Myer Place bridge. Don't forget to bring your own drink bottle.
LOST SOMETHING/SOMEONE?Lost persons will be accompanied to the First Aid Tent located near the Rotunda in the centre of Rosalind Park. Lost child/person wristbands will be available at the Bendigo Visitor Centre for your convenience.Lost property will be held at the Bendigo Visitor Centre.
PARENTING ROOM‘The Mews’ parents' room is available for use during the festival, located behind the Bendigo Visitor Centre. Enter via Sidney Myer Place or William Vahland Place.
FIRST AIDFirst aid will be on site during the festival near the Rotunda in the centre of Rosalind Park.
INCLEMENT WEATHERIn the event of extreme weather conditions, festival events may be moved to a dry weather venue or cancelled. Please refer to the website or Facebook page for the latest information.
ROAD CLOSURESRoad closures will operate throughout the festival. Please follow detour signage during these times. For more information visit www.bendigoeasterfestival.org.au
WASTEOrganics bins have been introduced to the food court and other areas to divert valuable food material from landfi ll.Once turned into a rich compost it will be used in the parks and gardens around Bendigo – including Rosalind Park!

A morning family festival of Chinese culture, along with an afternoon spectacular of Bendigo Chinese Association and visiting lion teams performance concluding with a spectacular of 100,000 fi recrackers used to wake Sun Loong for the Bendigo Advertiser Gala Parade.

Come and see spectacular performances by the Bendigo Chinese Association lion team combined with visiting lion teams from all over Australia. They will be helping return Sun Loong to his lair for hibernation until he emerges again for the next event.

Easter Saturday until 4.30pm only (after this time no exit will be possible until after 10.30pm due to the road closure for the Laser Electrical Torchlight Parade). Closed all day Easter Sunday due to the Gala Parade.

PARK 'N' TRAM ITPark outside the CBD near one of fi ve tram stops and catch the tram into town. The Easter Weekend Vintage Talking Tram ticket is valid from Good Friday to Easter Monday with trams departing regularly.
A shuttle service is available from the Bendigo Advertiser Gala Parade. Park your car at either end of the tram tracks and catch the tram to and from the parade between 9.20am – 2.40pm, Easter Sunday.

Established during the golden age of post-war modernism, Marimekko is the Finnish textile and fashion company that achieved international fame in the 1960s and 1970s with its bold screen prints and pop-art style graphics. The exhibition features more than 60 outfi ts, swathes of original fabrics, homewares, sketches and other archival materials.

The Australian Army’s 2nd Force Support Battalion will exercise their right to Freedom of Entry to the City of Greater Bendigo. The ceremonial parade is the most honourable distinction that a city may bestow on a contingent of the Australian Defence Force. For those on the sidelines, it’s set to be a spectacular event involving marching troops, military vehicles and the army banner.

EASTER BULL STREETMUSIC FESTIVALSaturday and Sunday, 2pm – 10pm • Bull Street, Bendigo
One of the biggest events of the festival with the best live bands and entertainment, this year headlined by the Australian Bon Jovi Show and SOS Abba Tribute. The festival also includes local wineries and craft beers, clowns and face painting for the kids. The whole of Bull Street comes alive!
