Key features of the database construction process• Collectiveconstructionprocesswithkeystakeholdersoftheelectricityvaluechain.Datagathering,modelling
andcalculationsensuredby:EURELECTRIC(generationandstorage),EWEA(windpower),T&DEurope(activetransmission technologies), Europacable (passive transmission technologies: cables), a TSO pool (passivetransmissiontechnologies:overheadlines)andTECHNOFI(demand).DatavalidationisensuredbyaQualityPoolofexpertsaswellasbyinternalworkshopsandadedicatedworkshopwithexternalstakeholders.
• Uncertaintymanagementandcontextualization:extremevalues,bothquantitative(min/max)andqualitative(high/low),foreachselectedvariable,areprovidedtoforecastpossibleevolutionsovertime.Moreover,dataarecontextualized,i.e.thetypicaluncertaintyrangesofthedataarefined-tunedaccordingtothefivee-Highway2050scenarioscoveringthe2020-2050timeperiod.
