The Mathematical Association of Western Australia (MAWA) is a non-profit organisation which works to support teachers and students of mathematics in Western Australia. The Association is run by a committee of volunteers, as well as paid staff consisting of an office manager, a part-time professional officer, a part-time accounts officer and a casual part-time office assistant.

MAWA supports students and schools by conducting a wide range of student and teacher activities; and by providing access to printed/online materials and journals on mathematics teaching, learning and assessment.
