PERSONAL SPIRITUAL GROWTH THE GREAT I AM STATEMENTS

This workshop will explore the seven I Am statements of Jesus found in the Gospel of John. During this workshop you will begin to trade feelings of emptiness and depletion for the fullness of knowing who Jesus is like never before by learning the crucial significance behind each of His I AM statements.

A DEEPER RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD — WHERE DO I BEGIN? Do you desire a more intimate relationship with God, but sometimes just don’t know where to begin? In this workshop, you will learn what Spiritual growth really is and the steps needed to get you there. You will discover the common roadblocks that stop Christians from truly connecting with God, and how to break them down in your own life. You will also learn what it means to be spiritually crippled, how to make sure it doesn’t happen to you and how to leave the past in the past and embrace your future in Christ.

HOW FIT IS YOUR FAITH?Over the course of your life you may have had the opportu-nity to look in the mirror and determined that you are physi-cally unfit. Based on what you see, you go about developing a plan to deal with your lack of physical fitness. How would you go about determining the fitness of your faith? Oh, and by the way, how fit is your faith? Do you have a healthy faith-life? Do you need a spiritual check-up? If you sense something might be wrong in your spiritual life, perhaps it’s time to examine your Christian walk; just how do you go about doing that? This class will study the different worship styles in the Old and New Testaments with special attention to the elements of worship; the personnel, the words, the symbols, and the acts along with the theology underlying the literature of worship in both Testaments. The class will also discuss contemporary worship styles and whether or not one style is right for everyone.

THE APOCALYPSE! — A WEEK IN REVELATION

The book of Revelation was written to seven churches as both encouragement and challenge. An apocalyptic letter, it relies on visions, symbols, and Old Testament references to reveal the ultimate fulfillment of God's promise given to Abraham in Genesis. The book is not a secret code that allows believers to decipher the timeline of Jesus's return. Instead, it shows that every human kingdom eventually becomes Babylon and must be resisted. Jesus, the slain Lamb who died for the sins of the world, will return one day as King with His followers to prompt repentance. He will remove evil permanently and make all things anew. That promise motivates every generation of God's people to be faithful in the midst of persecution until their King returns.

THE GREAT COMMISSIONTHE BIBLICAL FOUNDATION OF YOUR ROLE IN THE GREAT COMMISSION The Great Commission is one of the most important passages in the Holy Bible. It is a special calling from Jesus Christ to all of His followers to take specific action while on this earth. Everyone has a God-given role to play. This work-shop will discuss: 1. The Power of the Great Commission (Phil. 4:13 and Matt. 28:18) 2. The Purpose of the Great Commission is to evangelize the unsaved, baptize new believers and to unite the unchurched with a local body

The Trinity: God is one "What" and three "Who’s" with each "Who" possessing all the attributes of deity and personality.The Person of Jesus Christ: Jesus is 100% God and 100% man for all eternity.The Second Coming: Jesus Christ is coming bodily to earth to rule and judge.Salvation: It is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone.Scripture: It is entirely inerrant and sufficient for all Christian life.

Participants will be able to combine this information so that they can leave the workshop with a personal strategy that will help them tell others about the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ that is not confined to the sanctuary on Sunday mornings. At the end of the week participants will leave with an “I can’t keep it to myself commitment.”

This workshop will teach students how to think like Jesus. It’s easy to be influenced by the latest trends. Teenagers will receive information that will help them form their own opinions and stand firm in today’s modern social media culture. Students will gain a better understanding and therefore believe that the ultimate source of knowledge and wisdom comes from God.

Emojis and other hands-on activities will be used to teach the class.
