PARISH DONATION ENVELOPES FOR 2017

PARISH DONATION ENVELOPES FOR 2017 are in the parish hall for pick up after all the Masses. Be sure to only take the box with your name & address on it, so that YOU are the one credited

for your donations. Please do not use these envelopes until JANUARY 2017. Our computer programme will not switch

to the new numbering system until JANUARY. —————————————————————————————————

NEW Advent Giving Project

The Advent Giving Tree project is taking a different approach this year. CHRISTMAS CHEER is asking for new or slightly used toys (NO used stuffed toys can be accepted ) as well as gift cards for teens (movies, music stores,,) and toiletries for teens and adults. We, as a parish will assist them in this way:

This Sunday—November 27– bring in non perishable foods for the SOUP KITCHEN and new or slightly used toys, gift cards and toiletries for CHRISTMAS CHEER.

NEXT SUNDAY December 4– non perishable food for VINCENT PLACE and new or slightly used toys, gift cards and toiletries for CHRISTMAS CHEER. Last Sunday we collected food for the Salvation Army & Christmas gifts for Christmas Cheer. We’d like to THANK Fran Yarduk for her generosity in distributing our Advent giving food donations to the Salvation Army & the Christmas Gifts to the Christmas Cheer Depot.

LET US HELP MAKE SOMEONE’S CHRISTMAS

A LITTLE MORE CHEERFUL!

Eucharistic Adoration Ministry of Sault Ste. Marie

Adoration Chapel Located at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church

The Roman Catholic community of the City of Sault Ste. Marie is privileged to have an Adoration Chapel where Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament is present at all times.

This Chapel is located in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church at 114 MacDonald Avenue. We are running into difficulties where a lot of the Adorers are getting to an age where they are

unable to attend the Chapel due to sickness or lack of transportation.

The Chapel is open from 6:00 a.m. until Midnight.

Anyone can drop in for a visit during that time; however, we do need adorers committed to a weekly visit for an hour.

We urgently require an Adorer for the hours of: -Sunday 3pm to 4 pm; -Sunday 7pm to 8pm -Sunday 8pm to 9pm

-Monday 7am to 8am -Monday 9am to 10 am -Thursday 1pm to 2pm

-Saturday 1 to 2pm Please call one of the following coordinators of the Chapel if you would like to come to the Chapel to experience the peace and tranquility of spending one hour weekly with Jesus:

Susanne Quinn-Perron 450-7732; Angela Rasaiah 949-2208; and Raffaela Medaglia 206-3968.
