DEPARTMENT OF TEACHER EDUCATION STARTED IN 1951, AS A PART OF COMPOSITE COLLEGE, IS FOREMOSTAMONGST ALL THE TEACHER EDUCATION CENTRES IN THE STATE. THE COLLEGE WAS AFFILIATED TO AGRAUNIVERSITY AND THE DEPARTMENT OF TEACHER EDUCATION WAS PERMITTED AN INTAKE OF 80 STUDENTS
IN THE B.ED. COURSE. IS PLACED ON NOTICE BOARD SO THAT STUDENT MIGHTKNOW HOW AND WHEN APPROACH THE CELL. ANYCOMPLAINT REGARDING LIBRARY WORKING, CLASS
TEACHING, PRACTICE TEACHING, MISCONDUCT OF PEERS,ANTI NATIONAL ACT, USE OF ABUSIVE LANGUAGE, SEXUALHARASSMENT, ETC. CAN BE MADE IN G R CELL IN WRITING.THE CELL LOOK INTO THE MATTER AND ISSUES SO CAUSENOTICE TO THE ACCUSED. HE/SHE HAS TO EXPLAIN AND
PROVIDE PROOF THAT HERE SHE WAS NOT INVOLVED ANDINNOCENT. IF HE/SHE FAILS TO PROVE AND SELF FINDS
HIM/HER CULPRIT, THEN PUNISHMENT WILL BE GIVEN- MAYBE FINE OR EXPELLED FROM THE COLLEGE DEPENDING ON
THE SERIOUSNESS OF THE MATTER.

ANY CASE REPORTED BY THE STUDENT OR TEACHER COMESTO THE CELL, QUICK ACTION IS TAKEN BY THE CELL. AFTER
FINDING FACTS AND FIGURES, THE ACTION IS TAKEN. INSERIOUS MATTER AR CELL CAN TAKE DECISION TO EXPELTHE STUDENT FROM THE DEPARTMENT. THE PRINCIPAL ISINFORMED ABOUT THE DECISION AND CONSENT IS TAKENTO EXECUTIVE. BUT IT IS WORTH TO MENTION THAT NOT A
