Who Should ApplyApplicants must be:

• Highly motivated professionals, academics or government officials who wish to develop their leadership skills and enhance their ability to address pressing issues of public health in a rapidly changing environment.

• Qualified, credentialed (post-graduate or doctoral level) professionals, or equivalent public health experience.

• Highly motivated, curious, creative, and committed to interdisciplinary and collaborative work.

Participants can expect to:

• Develop applied skills in their areas of expertise.

• Increase their appreciation of the dynamics of systems as they pertain to health.

• Enhance their understanding of leadership and skills.

• Expand their international professional networks.

The ProgramThe PH-LEADER program provides a unique opportunity for promising mid-career health professisonals and scientists to develop their skills in designing and evaluating chronic disease programs and policies, and in leadership.

Registration fee includes:

• Course expenses, leadership profile assessment, and all texts and course materials.

• Lunch on seminar days during training at Emory University (does not include meals for days off, or evenings).

• Group activities and events.

Participant Cost: Participants are responsible for purchase of round-trip airfare, accommodations, meals, visa, ground transportation and are required to show proof of travel health insurance valid for the duration of their stay. Program DescriptionThe leadership academy includes:• Intensive, three week course at Emory

University, in Atlanta on leadership and professional development, and implementation sciences.

• Leadership profile assessment with individualized feedback.

• Learning opportunities with public health faculty from prominent global institutions.
