THIS IS ONLY THE BEGINNING OF BIRTH PAINS (SORROWS)Matthew 24:8

THIRD SEAL: The Black Horse = The Spirit of Economics as found in Capitalism and Free Enterprise

Revelation 6:5-6:5When the Lamb opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, "Come!" I looked, and there before mwas a black horse! Its rider was holding a pair of scales in his hand. 6Then I heard what sounded like a voice among the four livingcreatures, saying, "A quart ofwheat for a day's wages (Denarius) and three quarts ofbarley for a day's wages, (Denarius) and dodamage the oil and the wine!"

This verse reads like a stock market report that can be heard several times a day indicating the rise and fall of wares on the DOWJONES, TSE (Toronto Stock Exchange) etc. Reports of this nature come in from all around the world on a daily basis. In receivinginformation we are able to actually get the value of the commodities being traded be they wheat, oats, barley, etc.

When getting off a plane in Zurich Switzerland or in many other countries one may enter a bank in the airport in order to exchangemoney. On the front of many of these banks is a representation of a pair of balances (scales) which is the symbol of capitalism. Othe front of the American one dollar bill is a set of balances, again the symbol of capitalism.

Perhaps the most powerful evidence that shows the true meaning of the black horse was what happened following the governmentalelection in Germany in 1966. The Social Democrats (Socialists) and the Christian Democrats (Capitalists) were both running for obut failed to win the required fifty one percent to form a government. They turned to the FDP (Free Democratic People's Party),asmall splinter party that had won seven percent of the votes to try and make a government. After about thirty days of negotiations thtwo big parties got tired of the process because the FDP wanted too much power in light of their seven percent holdings. Finally theSocial Democrats and the Christian Democrats put together a Grand Coalition and formed a government.

In the December 9, 1966 edition of Time Magazine it stated the following: "A Grand Coalition of the two major parties, the SocialDemocrats and the Christian Democrats that have bitterly fought each other for years, a union of black and red. It was a marriage oconvenience but a stunning match nevertheless." The media had revealed that Social Democrats (Socialist) colour was represented bred and the Christian Democrats (Capitalist) colour was represented by black.

Just as we saw in the Second Seal the official colour of Communism, Socialism, Marxism was red, we now see that the official coloCapitalism is black.

Again we see why God chose black for the horse loosed on the world with the opening of the third seal. We now understand why thespirit of the black horse makes people do what they do. This spirit dominates discussion in universities and colleges around the worand causes governments, media and individuals to hold particular points of view. In times past, the Democratic party in the USA waSocialist oriented while the Republican party was pro Capitalist. At the time of this writing 2009, the Democratic Party in the USA extremely Socialistic and the Republican Party is somewhat blurred between the two. Seems like the Red horse of Socialism is takinover the USA and to a very great extent Canada. The black horse is evident, although in a somewhat weakened state. There is indeespiritual battle going on.

The blackhorse is symbolic of the spirit of capitalism and represents famine and poverty perpetrated by the rich who refuse to sharewith those in need in their quest for more and more power, control and finances. This horse and rider brings in a lack of everythingincluding food, work, light (increased darkness), word of God, love of others, medicine and health care, animals, marine life, virtualeverything you can imagine.

Capitalism is a system based upon industry where a small ruling class of millionaire entrepreneurs own what Marx called "the meanproduction": the factories, power plants, land and transport, all the means to produce the things we need. The rest of society is made of people who own nothing but the ability to sell their labour. In order to survive workers are forced to work for the capitalist who inreturn pays the workers a wage, takes what the workers have made and then sells it on the market for a large profit.

A pair of scales represents the rich capitalists that have a major impact on world conditions through their manipulation of nationaleconomies. These scales also weigh the deeds of men, whether good or bad. The evil deeds are considered sorcery to God because it meanscoveting the lies of Satan and rejecting the truth of God's word and the teachings of Jesus Christ.

The scales are also weighing the righteous actions of men: love of others, repentance, faith, forgiveness, peace, happiness, joy, feedithe poor, visiting the elderly, and the list goes on. These deeds are in keeping with the word of God, the practice of His word and thecarrying out of His truth.

Only one other verse in the Bible pictures a man with balances or scales manipulating his customers in a capitalistic manner.Hosea 7:7:7 The merchant uses dishonest scales; he loves to defraud.

Another prophet, Amos, also said that the merchants, the wealthy capitalists of his day were robbing the poor instead of helping themAmos 8:4-6: 4 Hear this, you who trample the needy and do away with the poor of the land, 5 saying, "When will the New Moon be that we may sell grain, and the Sabbath be ended that we may market wheat?"skimping the measure, boosting the price and cheati

    with dishonest scales,

buying the poor with silver and the needy for a pair of sandals, selling even the sweepings with the wheat.

Wheat and barley are harvest grains traded on the stock market and represent the food for supply for the masses. The high prices o

wheat and barley illustrate famine and lean conditions along with capitalistic gouging.

A days wages in biblical times was paid in the form of a Roman Denarius which was a small silver coin worth about $20.00 US. It

indicates the extreme pricing (greed) and rationing that will prevail at this time.

The statement do not damage or harm the oil and the wine indicates that wealth and luxury exist alongside famine and that pover

and the gulf between rich and poor is continuously growing. In the USA a mere one percent of the rich holds forty percent of the weThe gap between the rich and the poor in the USA is now widening with the middle class gradually disappearing. In addition, for the last several years the honeybees have been inexplicably disappearing at an alarming rate. These bees are vital to tpollination of our food crops. Is it any coincidence that olive trees and grape vines are the only two crops that do not require beepollination but rely on the wind to carry the pollen.

There have been 4 major famines for the 17 year period between 1974-1991:

1974 famine in Bangladesh1975-1979 Khmer Rouge. An estimated 2 million Cambodians lost their lives to murder, forced labor and famine1980 famine in Karamoja, Uganda1984 famine in Ethiopia
