Today’s Worship Service

SUNDAY, MAY 14, 2017 “HOW CAN I KEEP FROM SINGING?” There is an endless song, echoes in my soul, I hear the music ring. And though the storms may come, I am holding on; to the Rock I cling. (Chorus) How can I keep from singing Your praise? How can I ever say enough, how amazing is Your love? How can I keep from shouting Your name? I know I am loved by the King, and it makes my heart want to sing. I will lift my eyes in the darkest night for I know my Savior lives. And I will walk with You knowing You’ll see me through, and sing the songs You give. (Chorus) How can I keep from singing Your praise? How can I ever say enough, how amazing is Your love? How can I keep from shouting Your name? I know I am loved by the King, and it makes my heart want to sing. (Bridge) I can sing in the troubled times, sing when I win. I can sing when I lose my step and I fall down again. I can sing ‘cause You pick me up, sing ‘cause you’re there. I can sing ‘cause You hear me Lord, when I call to You in prayer. I can sing with my last breath, sing for I know that I’ll sing with the angels, and the saints around the throne. (Chorus) How can I keep from singing Your praise? How can I ever say enough, how amazing is Your love? How can I keep from shouting Your name? I know I am loved by the King, and it makes my heart, I am loved by the King, and it makes my heart, I am loved by the King, and it makes my heart want to sing. I can sing! I can sing! I can sing!

“AND CAN IT BE?” And can it be that I should gain an int’rest in the Savior’s blood? Died He for me, who caused His pain? For me, who Him to death pursued? Amazing love! how can it be that Thou, my God shouldst die for me? (Chorus) Amazing love! how can it be that Thou, my God shouldst die for me! No condemnation now I dread: Jesus, and all in Him is mine! Alive in Him, my living Head, and clothed in righteousness divine; Bold I approach th’eternal throne, and claim the crown, thru Christ my own. (Chorus) Amazing love! how can it be that Thou, my God shouldst die for me! “SEE THE DESTINED DAY ARISE” See the destined day arise! See a willing sacrifice! Jesus, to redeem our loss, hangs upon the shameful cross; Jesus, who but You could bear wrath so great and justice fair? Every pang and bitter throe, finishing your life of woe? (Chorus) Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Lamb of God for sinners slain! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Jesus Christ, we praise your name! Who but Christ had dared to drain, steeped in gall, the cup of pain; And with tender body bear thorns, and nails, and piercing spear? Slain for us, the water flowed, mingled from your side with blood; Sign to all attesting eyes of the finished sacrifice. (Chorus) Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Lamb of God for sinners slain! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Jesus Christ, we praise your name! Holy Jesus, grant us grace in that sacrifice to place all our trust for life renewed, pardoned sin, and promised good. Grant us grace to sing your praise, ‘round your throne through endless days, ever with the sons of light: “Blessing, honor, glory, might!” (Chorus) Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Lamb of God for sinners slain! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Jesus Christ, we praise your name!

“THE SONG OF MOSES” O the Lord, our strength and song, highest praise to Him belongs. Christ the Lord, our conq'ring King, Your name we raise, Your triumphs sing. (Chorus) O Praise the Lord, our mighty warrior. Praise the Lord, the glorious One. By His hand we stand in victory and by His name we’ve overcome. Though the storms of hell pursue, in darkest night we worship You. You divide the raging sea, from death to life You safely lead. (Chorus) O Praise the Lord, our mighty warrior. Praise the Lord, the glorious One. By His hand we stand in victory and by His name we’ve overcome. All the saints and angels bow, hosts of heaven crying out, "Glory, glory to the King! You reign for all eternity!“ (Chorus) O Praise the Lord, our mighty warrior. Praise the Lord, the glorious One. By His hand we stand in victory and by His name we’ve overcome. (Bridge) The Lord shall reign forever and ever. (sing 4 times) (Chorus) O Praise the Lord, our mighty warrior. Praise the Lord, the glorious One. By His hand we stand in victory and by His name we’ve overcome. (Chorus) O Praise the Lord, our mighty warrior. Praise the Lord, the glorious One. By His hand we stand in victory and by His name we’ve overcome.

CHOIR ANTHEM “FOUNTAIN OF LIFE” O precious is the flow that makes me white as snow. No other fount I know, nothing but the blood of Jesus. O precious is the flow that makes me white as snow. No other fount I know, nothing but the blood of Jesus. There is a fountain filled with blood, drawn from Emmanuel’s veins. And sinners plunged beneath that flood lose all their guilty stains. Lose all their guilty stains; Lose all their guilty stains; And sinners plunged beneath that flood lose all their guilty stains. Dear dying Lamb, Thy precious blood shall never lose its pow’r till all the ransomed church of God be saved to sin no more. Be saved to sin no more; Be saved to sin no more; Till all the ransomed church of God be saved to sin no more. Fountain of Life, all of my shame buried with Christ, oh, praise His name! Guilty, I fall Forgiven, I rise! Grateful forever, Fountain of Life! Fountain of Life, all of my shame buried with Christ, oh, praise His name! Guilty, I fall Forgiven, I rise! Grateful forever, Fountain of Life! E’er since by faith I saw the stream Thy flowing wounds supply, Redeeming love has been my theme, and shall be till I die, until I die! And shall be till I die; And shall be till I die; Redeeming love has been my theme, and shall be till I die! Fountain of Life, all of my shame buried with Christ, oh, praise His name! Guilty, I fall Forgiven, I rise! Grateful forever, Fountain of Life! Guilty, I fall Forgiven, I rise! Grateful forever, Fountain of Life! Fountain of Life!

INVITATION “CALVARY COVERS IT ALL” Far dearer than all that the world can impart, was the message that came to my heart; How that Jesus alone for my sin did atone, and Calvary covers it all. (Chorus) Calvary covers it all, my past with its sin and stain. My guilt and despair Jesus took on Him there, and Calvary covers it all. The stripes that He bore and the thorns that He wore told His mercy and love evermore; And my heart bowed in shame as I called on His Name, and Calvary covers it all. (Chorus) Calvary covers it all, my past with its sin and stain. My guilt and despair Jesus took on Him there, and Calvary covers it all. How matchless the grace, when I looked on the face, of this Jesus, my crucified Lord; My redemption complete I then found at His feet, and Calvary covers it all. (Chorus) Calvary covers it all, my past with its sin and stain. My guilt and despair Jesus took on Him there, and Calvary covers it all. How blessed the thought, that my soul by Him bought, shall be His in the glory on high, where with gladness and song I’ll be one of the throng, and Calvary covers it all. (Chorus) Calvary covers it all, my past with its sin and stain. My guilt and despair Jesus took on Him there, and Calvary covers it all.

OFFERTORY “HOW DEEP THE FATHER’S LOVE FOR US” How deep the Father’s love for us; How vast beyond all measure, that He should give His only Son to make a wretch His treasure. How great the pain of searing loss; The Father turns His face away, as wounds which mar the Chosen One bring many sons to glory. Behold the man upon a cross, my sin upon His shoulders. Ashamed, I hear my mocking voice call out among the scoffers. It was my sin that held Him there until it was accomplished. His dying breath has brought me life; I know that it is finished. I will not boast in anything: No gifts, no power, no wisdom. But I will boast in Jesus Christ, His death and resurrection. Why should I gain from His reward? I can not give an answer. But this I know with all my heart; His wounds have paid my ransom. But this I know with all my heart; His wounds have paid my ransom. “O GREAT GOD” You are worthy to be praised with my every thought and deed; O great God of highest heav’n glorify Your Name through me.
