BRONWYN-TE KARU.

Bronwynhas spent many years in the aviation and travel

arena. She has a wealth ofknowledge in the education sector with specific

emphasis on NZQA and TECrequirements. Bronwyn is qualified to

ATTTO Level 5 / 6. Extremely passionate ineducation and training pilots, cabin

crew and general aviation, Bronwyn has a solidknowledge base in Aviation, and

has also completed unit standards related toadult teaching and learning. Bronwyn

has developed an Aviation Programme specificto Year 12 and Year 13 Secondary Schools.

Bronwyn has strong leadership roles in PastoralCare of International Students,

Studylink VOS Reporting, Studylink Applications,First Aid Training, NZ

Immigration compliance and TEC pre –requisites.

Trevor Moeke– ADVISOR

Trevor is the Principal Advisor for the Crown -Maori relations, and a Director of Kahungunu

Assets Holdings Company. Trevor has adeep understanding of the challenges /opportunities of developing indigenous

approaches to Tertiary Education. He is a staunchadvocate and co-chair of

WINHEC (World Indigenous Nations HigherEducation Consortium). Trevor Moeke is

a member of the New Zealand GovernmentTreasury and leads the Crown-Maori

capability work programme. Trevor was formerlyCEO for Maori TV and has held

senior management roles with TEC and NZQA.Trevor is very articulate in cementing

great work relationships with emphasis on AviationTraining.

Jim Peters –ADVISOR

Jim focuses on developing a positive Māori profilewithin and about the University, helping develop Māoriprogrammes in liaison with the Vice-Chancellor, Māoristaff, students and the community. He advisesthe University at all levels. At the faculty level, he workswith kaiārahi to support both academic and professionalstaff. He maintains working relationships with Māoristudent groups. Jim is also responsible for WaipapaMarae and the Rūnanga and works closely with Ngā Paeo te Māramatanga – NZ’s Centre of Researchexcellence (CoRE). Ngā Pae is focused on realising thecreative potential of Māori communities. Jim served oneterm in Parliament as a list MP for New Zealand First andwas also Chairman of the Northland Regional Council.

Wendy Randall -DIRECTOR- FINANCE

After studying accountancy,Wendy worked in Australia and the Pacific

before joining the travel industry.Her first roles were with the airlines (including

in the 1978 Air NZ teammanaging the World Rowing Championships)before moving to manage and later own

a travel agency. She returned home to set upTravelog, an accounting system she

helped develop which is used in manycompanies in New Zealand and Australia

Mike Xie used to be the Regional SalesDirector for Avion Pacific Ltd in China. He hasa solid knowledge of helicopters and fix wingaircrafts and has been immersed in theGeneral Aviation (GA) Industry for many yearsin China.
