  • E-Verify Training List A Documents E-Verify MUST BE COMPLETED WITHIN 3 DAYS OF HIRE Scenario: A new Hired Employee completed Section 1 on the Form I-9 and gave it to you along with a Passport on Day 1 of employment. You have completed Section 2 and now you are ready to verify the employment eligibility in the E-Verify system. Keep the I-9 and the Document provided handy as you will need these after you log in to the system.

  • E-Verify Training List A Documents 1.Enter https://e-verify.uscis.gov/emp to logon to the E-Verify system and the screen below appears 2. Click on I agree tab 3. Click Continue E-Verify MUST BE COMPLETED WITHIN 3 DAYS OF HIRE

  • If screen appears: 1.Click on Select Reason drop down box and select reason. 2.If late due to paperwork arriving to you late, enter delayed paperwork in the Other Reason section. 3.Click Continue E-Verify Training (Miscellaneous) NOTE:If you have entered this information more than 3 days after the hire date, this screen will appear. NOTE:If you enter the information prior to the 3 day requirement, this screen will not appear and you will go to the next slide.

  • E-Verify Training List A Documents 1.Click on View/Print Case Details 2.Print the page that opens and submit it with the New Hire Package (see next slide) 3.If finished running E- Verify, Click on Log Out 4.If you have more E- Verify Cases to process, Click New Case 5.Employee information you entered will be listed in this section The Employee Name and Case Verification Number will appear here

  • E-Verify Training List A Documents EEs info will be here based on what you entered When you clicked on View/Print Case Details (see previous slide), this generates the document below. This document is to be included with the Form I-9 that is sent to the Office of Human Resources with the New Hire Package. Ensure Employment Authorized is showing in the Initial Case Result section. Be sure your User ID and a Closed On date is listed in the Case Closure section.
