E-ZenithDescription:E-Zenith will challenge the participants spontaneity and his/her inventive instincts. Electronics

enthusiasts will find themselves at home as they are required to design and construct something

unique and worthwhile out of the provided junk machinery and equipment. Do you crave to play

around with electronics at every chance? Then this challenge is definitely your cup of tea.

The competitors will be given a limited time to perform a series of tasks, with the difficulty level

gradually increasing. The junkyard stuff provided could be anything from motors and dials, to

tin cans and spoons. Teams will battle in a knockout fashion of the top five ranks, and only the

most resilient of minds shall make it out as the winner.

Anticipation and improvisational abilities will be extremely essential. Moreover, E-Zenith goes

on to promote recycling and reusing such materials that prove to be one of the major contributors

    to pollution.

Structure:The first four preliminary rounds will consist of tasks being released periodically.

Each task will be open to all teams for a maximum of 1 hour.

The difficulty level of the tasks will increase as the rounds progress. Results shall be announced

for the respective task on knock out basis.

Top four teams in the preliminary rounds will enter the final round where the team that

effectively completes the given challenge in the shortest amount of time will be the winner and

    the subsequent, the runner-up.

If only one team manages to reach the last round then they will be considered the winners

without the necessity to complete the final round or simply the last team left standing before the

final round will be the winner.

The timing criteria might change upon the nature of the problems, whereas judgment criterion

remains the same. The decision of the jury will be full and final. Procom.Net 2011 www.procom.net.pk 17
