Excess of blasted rock mass

● In Bergen, there is excess amounting to 2 million m3 blasted rock.

● Excess from Lysehorn tunnel in Os will be landfilled in Endalausmarka

● Between Svegatjørn and Endalausmarka eventuelly excess will be deposited in Endalausmarka.

Tender evaluation



• No prequalification

• NS 8406 :2009

• Both tenders (K10 and K11) at the same time

• Tendering deadlines for K10 and K11 on the same date

• Discount at one or both if award both contracts.

• Have to be lowest in both included discount.

• Reservation due to capasity to award both if lowest in both.

• NPRA is free to choose one of the tenders.

• Award lowest tender (if qualifications and formalities are in order).

The official contract language is Norwegian

Qualification

● Qualification process is a phase in the competition, preceding the evaluation of the tenders themselves.

● All qualification requirements must be responded to.

– Breachments may leave the Owner no alternative than to reject the tender.

– This also applies to documentation in Norwegian.

● Qualification requirements vary. The NPRA uses a method we have developed.
